Wu Yin (1909--1991), formerly known as Yang Ying, a native of Wu County, Jiangsu Province (now Suzhou), a famous Chinese film actor, was born in Tianjin in 1909, and when he was a child, he was given by his father to worship his brother as a daughter and changed his surname to "Yang". Wu Yin's adoptive father came from a wealthy family, so she became interested in literature and art from an early age.
