Guangzhou, 10 Oct (China News Network) -- On 10 October, this reporter learned from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism that at present, most of the historical sites of the Xinhai Revolution in Guangdong province have been relatively well preserved, and there are more than 140 immovable cultural relics registered in Guangdong Province, such as the former site of the Guangdong Consultative Bureau, the former site of the "March 29" uprising headquarters, and the tomb of the seventy-two martyrs in Huanghuagang, of which 9 are national key cultural relics protection units and 26 are provincial-level cultural relics protection units.

As the birthplace of the Xinhai Revolution, Guangdong has an important position in the history of the Xinhai Revolution. Sun Yat-sen, the great pioneer of China's democratic revolution, and his earliest comrades-in-arms Lu Haodong, Shi Jianru, Zheng Shiliang, and Chen Shaobai were also born in the hot land of Guangdong.

It is understood that the historical sites of the Xinhai Revolution in Guangdong are relatively concentrated in Guangzhou, Meizhou, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and other cities, especially Guangzhou. In Guangzhou, it is concentrated in Yuexiu District, Haizhu District, Liwan District and Tianhe District, with Yuexiu District being the most dense.

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province said that in recent years, Guangdong Province has vigorously developed the resources of the Xinhai Revolution, strengthened the cultural and plastic tourism, and established a full-process construction model of "protection and repair - exhibition display - environmental remediation - tourism scenic spots", respectively, the former residence of Sun Yat-sen and the Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall into 5A-level and 4A-level tourist attractions, and there are currently 9 A-level tourist attractions related to the Xinhai Revolution in the province, including 1 5A-level, 2 4A-level, 5 3A-level and 1 2A-level tourist attraction.

At the same time, Guangdong has created a chain of pearls and beads of the resources of the Xinhai Revolution by creating tourism boutique routes such as the Historical and Cultural Tour Trail in Sun Yat-sen's hometown, creating a composite tourism product with distinct themes and diverse forms.

According to reports, on the occasion of commemorating the 110th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution, Guangdong will relive the history of the Xinhai Revolution by holding special exhibitions, celebrity Exhibitions, and academic symposiums.

Among them, the "Sword and Guts Heart - Xinhai Celebrity Hanmo Exhibition", jointly sponsored by the Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall and the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Xinhai Revolution, is currently on display at the Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall and will last until November 14. Sponsored by the Zhongshan Municipal Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang and the Sun Yat-sen Former Residence Memorial Hall, the "Revitalization of China: Xiangshan People and the Documentary Exhibition of Cultural Relics of the Xinhai Revolution" will be exhibited at the Sun Yat-sen Former Residence Memorial Hall until November 10. Organized by the Grand Marshal Sun Yat-sen's Palace Memorial Hall in Guangzhou, "Picking Up Pearls Overseas - Documentary Exhibition of Liu Jiwen of the Republic of China in the Collection of the Grand Marshal Sun Yat-sen's Palace" will be open to visitors in November.
