Zhang Zhongjing, a famous doctor of the Eastern Han Dynasty and later revered as a medical saint, wrote the original "Treatise on Typhoid Fever and Miscellaneous Diseases", which is one of the cornerstones of Chinese medicine. Due to the social turmoil of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the book "On Typhoid Fever and Miscellaneous Diseases" was scattered and lost.
