Sun Ganlu: I like to study in Shanghai, day and night, regardless of the season

author:Bright Net

"I love Shanghai, there are a bunch of people in this city, reading, talking about literature, thinking about it. I like to wander in the shade of the trees behind the house at sinan's book club and listen to the sound of reading coming out of the house. Some people think that the sound of traffic is Shanghai, some people think that the sound of the city well shouting is Shanghai, and the sound of reading, it is also Shanghai. --Sun Ganlu

Sun Ganlu likes to walk in the lush shade of the Sinan Mansion. This historical and cultural area of Shanghai has preserved a series of garden houses, and the Sinan Reading Club has made its home here. Arched windows, pebble walls, dream places like golden years, and gathering places of humanities, Sinan Reading Club has become the city's cultural business card, Shanghainese study, and a new option for citizens' weekend life.

Some people say that Sun Ganlu "created" a Shanghai, because if in a sociological sense, this avant-garde writer who has reshaped the city in text has "inscribed himself into the city" for more than a decade. As the initiator and chief planner of many important cultural activities, Shanghai has given birth to many cultural landmarks, such as sinan reading club and Duoyun Academy.

Talking about the establishment of the Sinan Book Club, it goes back to the Shanghai Book Fair. Every summer, more than 150,000 books are unveiled at the Shanghai Book Fair. The fragrance of books wafting among the dense leaves of sycamores has long been the "reason why many people like Shanghai". In 2011, during the Shanghai Book Fair, the Shanghai International Literature Week was held. "A book fair or an international literature week is like an alarm clock in a city that reminds people in the city to get close to books and read books."

On February 14, 2014, the establishment of the Sinan Book Club not only added a new cultural landmark to the city, but also became the seed of a cultural vine, spreading the cultural method of the book club to all corners of the city, and also making the book reading truly like Sun Ganlu expected, "day and night, regardless of the season". Come, go, listen, read. This is the reading ecology of the Sinan Book Club.

The Literature Week has been held for 11 years, the Sinan Book Club has been held for 7 years, more than 70,000 book lovers have come here to listen and feel; more than 1,000 Chinese and foreign writers have come to China, walked into Shanghai, and walked into the Sinan Book Club to read and share, many of which have shining names: Visu Naipaul, Mo Yan, Mario Vargas Llosa, Wang Anyi, Jin Yucheng, Filitte Orhan Pamuk, Li Oufan, Jia Pingwa... There are countless equally beautiful book clubs and book readers, sharing the smell of books in all corners of the city. And the Sinan Literary Home, hidden under the French sycamore and located in the Sinan Mansion, has become the spiritual home of the city's readers.

"There's a bunch of people in the city, reading books, talking about literature, and it feels warm to think about. Even if some readers don't know much, I think it is good that he comes to make up the bustle of books and the hilarity of literature. He said.

"I often have this picture in my mind." There was light in Sun Ganlu's eyes: "One day twenty or thirty years later, there was a middle-aged man, ah, maybe a middle-aged and elderly man, and he would say that one day when he was a teenager, he passed no. 505 Fuxing Middle Road, and he saw a group of people reading inside." This day changed his life. (Text/Wang Lu)
