Li Jishen (formerly known as Li Jichen Character: Ren Chao) was born on November 6, 1885 in Wuzhou, Guangxi, vice president of the Whampoa Military Academy; former senior Kuomintang general. He was the main founder and leader of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang.

He graduated from Beijing Army University in his early years. Studied in Japan. He successively served as the chief of staff and division commander of the First Division of the Guangdong Army, the inspector of the xijiang rehabilitation, and the director of the coaching department of the Whampoa Military Academy. In 1925, he was appointed commander of the Fourth Army of the National Revolutionary Army. During the Northern Expedition, he served as chief of staff of the General Headquarters of the National Revolutionary Army, chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Government, and commander-in-chief of the Eighth Road of the National Revolutionary Army, and remained in Guangzhou. In 1927, he participated in Chiang Kai-shek's anti-communist activities. In 1933, he joined forces with Cai Tingkai of the Nineteenth Route Army and others to organize an anti-Chiang Kai-shek anti-Japanese People's Revolutionary Government of the Republic of China in Fujian. When the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression broke out in 1937, it actively responded to the call of the Communist Party of China to unite against Japan and opposed the anti-communist policies of the Kuomintang government.

In 1948, he became chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang. Later, he successively served as vice chairman of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He died in Beijing on October 9, 1959, at the age of 74.

Li Jishen had six sons and five daughters.

Sons: Li Peiwen, Li Peijin, Li Peiyu, Li Peiqiong, Li Peiyao, Li Peizhao

Daughters: Li Xiaowei, Li Xiaolian, Li Xiaotong, Li Xiaoju, Li Xiaosong

Li Peiwen, (1906.10.18-1985) A native of Cangwu County, Guangxi Province, li Jishen's eldest son. In 1935, he received a master's degree in agronomy from Cornell University's College of Agriculture, and from 1935, he successively served as a professor, head of department and dean of the Department of Horticulture and the Department of Plant Production, College of Agriculture, Lingnan University. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as the dean of the College of Agriculture of Lingnan University, the vice president of the South China Agricultural College, the deputy director of the South China Institute of Agricultural Sciences, the academic member of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the vice chairman of the second council of the Chinese Agricultural Society, the member of the People's Government of Guangxi Province, the director of the Department of Agriculture, the member of the Second to Sixth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the member of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, and the vice chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League; he was successively elected as a deputy to the first people's congress of Guangxi Province, the first and second people's congress deputies of Guangdong Province, etc.

Li Peiyao (1933-1996.2.2.), a native of Cangwu County, Guangxi Autonomous Region. Li Jishen's son was vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang.

Li Peiyao was killed between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. on February 2, 1996, when the perpetrator, Zhang Jinlong, had committed several thefts before joining the army. He enlisted in the army in December 1994 and became a soldier of the first squadron of the second detachment of a certain headquarters of the armed police, and began to work at Li Peiyao's residence in March 1995. At about 4 o'clock on February 2, 1996, Zhang Jinlong took advantage of the opportunity on duty to sneak into Li's house to steal, waking Li Peiyao up, and was severely reprimanded and educated by Li Peiyao. Zhang saw that the matter had been exposed, and quickly took out two kitchen knives from the Li family's kitchen to commit the crime. Li Peiyao fought with it and snatched a kitchen knife to defend himself, but was eventually killed by Zhang Jinlong. Bai Jingfu, vice minister of public security at the time, pointed out that this was a case with no political purpose or other background, and the criminal's motive was to seek wealth and kill people.

After the incident, Zhang Jinlong immediately turned himself in and was quickly convicted and executed within about 3 months.

Li Peizhao (1934.11-1996.3), a native of Dapo Town, Cangwu, Guangxi. Born in Hong Kong, the son of the famous patriotic democratic revolutionary Li Jishen. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and a senior engineer. In 1950, he studied at the Tianjin National Hebei Fisheries College, the First Preparatory Corps of the Air Force, and the Second Aviation School of the Air Force. In 1952, he was appointed as an instructor at the Ninth Aviation School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Northwest Air Force Training Department. In 1961, he graduated from Jilin University of Technology majoring in automotive design. He is a technician and engineer of Jilin Provincial Institute of Local Industrial Technology, Jilin Provincial Import and Export Management Committee, and Jilin Provincial Planning Commission. In 1983, he successively served as deputy director and chief engineer of the Economic and Technical Cooperation Office of the People's Government of Jilin Province. After 1994, he served as an assistant inspector of the Bureau of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Jilin Province. He was elected as a member of the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh CPPCC National Committees of Jilin Province. Li Peiju is not only proficient in the design and research business of construction machinery and knowledge in English and Japanese, but also contributes to the introduction of large-scale projects, the preparation and use of electronic computer programs, and the organization and implementation of horizontal economic cooperation projects. He died in Beijing on March 9, 1996, at the age of 62.
