Xing Haiming said that China and South Korea are geographically close, culturally connected, and close to each other. In the face of the epidemic, the governments and peoples of the two countries have written a good story of "no one is far away, no one is foreign" with practical actions. This year marks the launch of the "Year of Cultural Exchanges between China and the ROK", and next year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the ROK, and bilateral relations are facing new opportunities to improve quality and upgrade. We sincerely hope that the two sides will take this opportunity to deepen political mutual trust, strengthen pragmatic cooperation, promote people-to-people ties, and push the China-ROK strategic cooperative partnership to a new level.
Huang Xi said that the friendly exchanges between South Korea and China have a long history, and the people of the two countries are highly recognized culturally. It is hoped that the "Year of Korean Chinese Exchanges" will be used as an opportunity to strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and promote the further deepening and development of ROK-China relations. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea is willing to work hand in hand with the Chinese Embassy and make due contributions to this end.
