Who is this Wang Qingyun? Why is a person so rich that he can build a luxurious "little imperial city"?
Speaking of Wang Qingyun, many people think that they can have such a big house, at least a Qing Dynasty person, either doing business or being an official. In fact, he was indeed born in the late Qing Dynasty, but this Wang Tuan Fort was completed in 1938 during the Republic of China. Wang Qingyun was born in 1892, the family of 5 brothers, he is the third oldest. He had a brother named Wang Buyun, a member of the Qing Dynasty. After the Republic of China replaced the Qing Dynasty, Wang Buyun, an intellectual, became the director of the Minqin Education Bureau, and was upright and virtuous, and won the hearts of the people. In 1929, a terrible thing happened in Minqin.
It all started in 1928. In 1928, the Nationalist Army clashed with a certain religion in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, of course, those who had guns were not afraid of not having guns, so they clarified the township activities, and there was a battalion commander named Ma Bao, who estimated that the conflict was not beneficial, and qingxiang was too cruel, so he joined the petition representatives, thinking of making big things small and small things small. Knowing that the Nationalist army did not eat this set, he found a reason to kill Ma Bao. In the era of warlord melee, killing someone was not as big as stepping on an ant. Unexpectedly, Ma Bao had a son named Ma Zhongying, fang gang, who knew that his father had been killed, and he hated it in his heart! How can the revenge of killing the father not be repaid, it must be repaid! So they united a group of people, not to kill hui, not to kill han, but to kill the nationalist army. But later, the red eye was killed, and even ordinary people were killed. In 1929, he killed Minqin, when the population of a county in Minqin was only more than 10,000 people, and he killed more than 4,000 people, regardless of men, women and children. Among those killed, Wang Buyun was one of them, who was killed to protect the students.
After Wang Buyun's death, because he was more popular with the people before he died, the well-meaning villagers asked Wang Qingyun to succeed Wang Buyun as the director of the Education Bureau. However, after all, it was not a piece of the authorities' material, and Wang Qingyun did not do it after two years. It is said that good people are difficult to learn, but learning bad is fast. At this time, Wang Qingyun became acquainted with Li Mou, the quartermaster general of ma Buqing, the commander of the Kuomintang Fifth Cavalry Division known as the "King of Hexi", and from then on, he lived a life of chicken and dog ascension to heaven. First he became the station chief of the purchasing station, and then he became the mayor of the district, and after Minqin had a security regiment, he became the head of the regiment, not only had the power, but even the money entered his own pocket like flowing water, and finally became the biggest landlord of Minqin. In 1936, he began construction of the "Little Imperial City", which was completed in 1938.
Just when Wang Qingyun was smug and smug, he did not expect that there was an idiom called "people walking tea cold". After Ma Buqing, the king of Hexi, was transferred to Qinghai, Wang Qingyun lost his job. In 1951, in an era when everyone was divided, he was shot as a bully landlord.
However, Wang Qingyun is not useless, before his death, he not only built Qingyun Primary School, but also participated in the public welfare construction of Waihe and Minwu Road. After the "Little Imperial City" was confiscated, his descendants left their hometown and went to Chongqing, Xinjiang, Mongolia and other places to live an ordinary life.
