"Schindler's List" is a novel by American director Steven Spielberg. In this film, the character of the Nazi officer Amon is not so much a bad person as a poor man. His existence was intended to illustrate that nazi racial policies hurt not only Jews, but also many Germans in the system, and Amon was one of them, who on the surface looked like a murderer, but on the inside he was entangled.
For in Schindler's List, it is not only to highlight Schindler's goodness through Amun's evil, but also to highlight Schindler's bravery with his timidity and cowardice.
Background: In September 1939, German forces defeated the Polish army in two weeks. Jews were ordered to resettle in major cities, and more than 10,000 Jews arrived in Krakow from the countryside every day.
On March 20, 1941, the deadline for entering the ghetto, all Jews from Krakow and its vicinity were forced to concentrate in an area with only 16 residential blocks.
The Germans conducted a job identification of Jews: those who had the skills of military service were given a blue card (the blue card meant that they could survive temporarily), and those who did not have this skill were all pulled into trucks and sent to concentration camps.
The handsome German officer ---- Amon appeared at this moment, a pair of cold and ruthless eyes, gray pupils transparent to almost clear, but the bottomless clarity made people shudder.
Amon first inspected the Pwasov concentration camp under construction, where he met Helen, a Jewish woman.
He had the Jewish women stand in a row and asked who had ever been maids, and everyone but Helen brushed up and raised their hands.
As soon as he saw that Helen did not raise his hand, he immediately changed his mind, and chose Helen, who had never been a maid, to be the maid of his new villa, on the grounds that "I am not interested in other people's maids, and I am lazy to correct her bad habits."

The second thing Amon did was to instruct his men to rebuild the foundations of the barracks at the request of the female engineer. (A kind of personality elusiveness and contradiction, which first appeared in the role of Amun)
The Jews who survived the disaster were once again brought together and endured a new round of suffering.
Amun, who got up in the morning, was naked, holding a sniper rifle, condescending to look at the Jews lined up on the playground and began his "morning exercises."
Amun shot a woman in the clearing without any reason, and after looking around, he killed another woman on the steps, for no reason.
Here, the Nazis raised the human imagination of "evil" to a higher level.
Shooting Jews made no difference to Amun like shooting a rabbit or a roe deer while hunting in the woods. (The gunshots fall, that's called a Liso!) I don't even have to struggle! The workers on the playground worked quickly, lest the next target be themselves.
Next, Amon inspected the progress of the metalworking plant, and he was dissatisfied with an old worker who had been working since six o'clock in the morning, but only a small pile of door hinges. The old man could not speak, but he closed his eyes and did not defend himself.
The old man was dragged out of the workshop like a chicken, Amon took out a pistol and aimed it at the head of the old man kneeling on the ground, but the pistol suddenly failed to produce bullets, and tried again and again, as if he was evil, and could not fire normally after several changes.
The old man who was about to be executed did not resist at all, and with each trigger sound, the old man's body trembled at once---- he was waiting for death, but the god of death was teasing him repeatedly!
The man next to him who wanted to take his life discussed how to solve the technical malfunction of the killing weapon: "It may be caused by the bending of the horn rod...", "Check the firing pin...", "It may be stained with uranium...", and the cruel killing game seems to be playing a standard comedy here, but no one will laugh.
Finally, a distraught Amun used the butt of his rifle to cut down the "undead" old workers to the ground and led his men away.

This shows that he did not abandon his faith even before he died.
