In September 1944, Amon Goss was arrested for corruption, sent to a nursing home in Germany for diabetes, and in early 1945 Amon Goss, along with some German officers, was arrested by the U.S. military and extradited to Poland after the war.
From August 27 to September 5, 1946, the Supreme State Court of Poland tried the Płasov butcher in Krakow, and finally Amon. Goss was charged with murder, imprisonment, genocide and "personally killed at least 500 people, including 30 to 90 women or children." ”

According to records, Amun. Goss had an unexpected situation when Goss was executing. For the first time, the executioner did not measure the correct length of the rope, and when the trapdoor was opened, Goss's body fell, but his feet fell to the ground, so he did not die. The second time the hanging was re-executed, the rope slipped, and he suffered another live sin, and it was not until the third executioner that he successfully completed his task and finally sent the butcher to hell.
