Speaking of the original intention of opening this restaurant, Lin Yu said, "I want young people working in Lianjiang to eat nutritious and high-quality lunches, and healthy, low-carbon, and the pursuit of exquisite vegetarian food is the best choice." He also opened a family vegetarian cooking public welfare class for free, and regularly opened a traditional Chinese language class.
What is particularly rare is that Lin Yu uses part of the restaurant surplus to give back to the society. Since 2018, every New Year's Day, Lin Yu has invited the sanitation workers in the county to the restaurant for free to have a dinner, and also sent them New Year goods and New Year red envelopes.
