Shao Xiaoxiong, a police officer of the traffic police detachment of the Jing'an Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau, who is on duty at Gate 1 of the National Exhibition Center in the picture, is working with the reinforcement police to check and map the vehicles entering and leaving the venue one by one to ensure that all vehicles enter quickly with certificates according to regulations. These young faces show a serious look, and they are the safe guardians with their backs to the "four-leaf clover".
I feel deeply honored, but I also have a little regret
On the eve of the opening of the exhibition, the traffic flow near the National Exhibition Center has increased significantly compared with the past, and Shao Xiaoxiong's other work is to guide the vehicle personnel passing through the South Square of the National Exhibition Center and Yinggang East Road, improve the efficiency of vehicle admission, and guide vehicles to pass quickly in accordance with the prescribed routes to avoid the backlog of vehicles in the import and export channels.
This is the second time that Shao Xiaoxiong has participated in the security reinforcement work of Jinbo, looking at the magnificent building behind him that has been guarded for two consecutive years, the young man said bluntly: It is very glorious, "Every time the China International Import Expo is successfully held, I have the opportunity to participate in it and feel the strength of the great power to forge ahead." ”
However, there are also regrets. It turned out that I had never really stepped into the pavilion of the Expo, and I could not personally feel the "all-encompassing" scene of the Expo. "We are responsible for the relationship of peripheral security, every day before the post, the Expo has not yet opened, after the removal, the day's exhibition has ended," Shao Xiaoxiong said.
There are many, many guardians of peace who wear police uniforms and have their backs to the "clover". Recently, a public security team composed of 40 traffic police and public security police officers was officially stationed in the "four-leaf clover". According to the deployment, the Jing'an Sub-bureau further improved the police force and equipment configuration of the security reinforcement work in The Expo, and set up two responsibility teams with traffic support as the main and emergency response as the supplement to ensure the safe and smooth convening of the Fourth China International Import Expo.
20,000 steps a day, turned into an old "master"
As early as the previous reinforcement team assembly day, Shao Xiaoxiong noticed that there were still many "old faces" in the reinforcement team. Wu Xinyi, a police officer from a large detachment of the traffic police detachment of the Jing'an substation, is also one of them, and this year his identity has changed from a police officer who entered Bo'an to reinforce the patrol post, to a "master" with a teacher, and together with two other public security student policemen who fight with him, he forms a combat unit with fixed posts in key areas.
In the first two years, Wu Xinyi's post was the peripheral patrol control of the National Exhibition Center, and the induction time was also particularly early, getting up at 5 o'clock every day, carrying out pre-work training at 6:30 a.m., and taking up his post on time at 7 o'clock. "At that time, I had to patrol 20,000 steps a day, but this result was not in the top ten of the reinforcement team's step rankings." Wu Xinyi smiled.
Among this group of reinforcement policemen who are "particularly able to endure hardships and fight", many of them are still participating in the security work of international exhibitions for the first time, but it is with this courage to fight, this group of young policemen have relied on their feet to "walk" out of the "safety" of the Expo.
With your back to the "clover", it is more important to carry peace
Different from previous years, during this year's Expo, passengers were prohibited from getting on and off the East Road of Yinggang, and Wu Xinyi also found that many citizens were not aware of this provision during the duty process, including many foreigners who came to see the exhibition. This is not difficult for Wu Xinyi, fluent English coupled with patient and professional answers, the problem is quickly solved.
Of course, Wu Xinyi concluded for the "apprentices" afterwards that in the security work of international exhibitions, it is inevitable to encounter the problem of language barrier. At last year's Expo, Wu Xinyi met a Russian national who asked for directions, and after checking the vocabulary and body language to confirm the needs of the other party, he successfully helped the foreigner to meet with his colleagues.
Like Shao Xiaoxiong, for three years, Wu Xinyi only quietly stationed on the outskirts of the National Exhibition Center and never really set foot in the "infield" of the Expo. However, he occasionally brushes his phone in his free time. No matter how much news about those novel exhibits on TV and the Internet, it is not as good as experiencing the grand occasion of the Expo, but these are not enough to make the police who insist on the periphery of the Expo turn around. Because they know that with their backs to the "four-leaf clover", it is more important to shoulder the responsibility of peace!
