Nanchang, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- He is a legendary figure on the hidden front of the Chinese Communist Party, a designer, an actor, or a cartoonist... He is Qian Zhuangfei, known as one of the "Three Masters of Longtan" on the CCP's hidden front. When the Party Central Committee was facing great danger, he risked his life to send out intelligence to protect the safety of the Party Central Committee organs and many Party leaders, including Zhou Enlai.

Qian Zhuangfei is not only a mighty red agent, but also a talented "slash youth". 90 years ago, he left Shanghai for the Central Soviet District, where he spent a short but wonderful time.

An auditorium

Ruijin Shazhouba, a special building stands quietly, this building has 8 corners, 17 doors, 41 windows, and a hidden air raid shelter behind the house, which is the site of the auditorium of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic. 87 years ago, more than 2,000 delegates from all over the country gathered here.

In January 1934, the Second National Congress of Soviets was held here, at which Mao Zedong proposed that "we should pay profound attention to the problems of the lives of the masses, from the questions of land and labor to the questions of rice, oil and salt..."

The auditorium embodies the designer's painstaking efforts. Sunlight shines through the doors and windows, and the hall is spacious and bright, and you can see the podium on the first floor when you sit on the second floor.

"The great hall was designed by the famous red agent Qian Zhuangfei. The view is good because of the design of the stepped building, 17 doors for easy evacuation, 41 windows for ventilation and lighting. Yang Lishan, director of the Ruijin Central Revolutionary Base History Museum, said, "The shape of the great hall is also very unique, overlooking from a high altitude like an octagonal hat of the Red Army, which means that the Red Army will always be stationed on this red land." ”

A memorial tower

The tower is majestic, the grass is green, and the Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower stands on the wide Red Army Square.

"March on the blood of the martyrs." Following the eight strong characters, approaching the Ruijin Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower, it is difficult to count the small stones that cover the tower.

"The small stone symbolizes the countless martyrs who gave their lives for the revolution." Huang Lufen, a docent of the ruijin Yeping revolutionary site group, said.

According to historical records, on February 2, 1934, the unveiling ceremony of the Red Army Martyrs' Memorial Tower was held in the Red Army Square. At the ceremony, Qian Zhuangfei gave a report to everyone on the design of the memorial tower.

"Qian Zhuangfei once broke into the core of the enemy's secret service, experienced the test of life and death, and poured a lot of emotion into the design of the memorial tower." Cao Chunrong, an expert on the history of the Soviet Union, said.

In 1931, after Qian Zhuangfei left Shanghai and came to the Central Soviet Region, he served as the director of the Political Protection Bureau of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission and the deputy director of the Second Bureau of the General Staff. In addition to his busy work, he also took on the responsibility of designing six major buildings.

Around the Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower, there are scattered buildings such as the Red Army Review Platform, the Gongluo Pavilion, the Bosheng Fort, and the Red Army Martyrs Memorial Pavilion. Cao Chunrong said: "These buildings have been given special symbols by Qian Zhuangfei, such as the Gongluo Pavilion, which commemorates Huang Gongluo, who died in the third anti-'encirclement and suppression' war. ”

In that year, the military and civilians of the Central Soviet District responded to the call and enthusiastically raised donations for the memorial tower, and the Ruijin workers and peasants also volunteered to participate in the construction of the tower, sending the bricks, stones and wood from their homes.

Huang Lufen said that the "Red Army Martyrs Memorial Tower" seen today has 7 big characters, and the word "lie" is the original of that year. After the Long March of the Red Army, the memorial tower was destroyed by the enemy, and a big lady risked her life to hide the stones with the word "Lie" in her home and donated them when it was rebuilt. According to legend, the eldest bride's younger son participated in the sacrifice of the Red Army, and the old man saw the word "lie" as if he were seeing a child.

In that year, 330,000 of the 2.4 million people in the Southern Jiangsu Region joined the Red Army, and 600,000 people fought in front of them. On the Long March Road, on average, more than 3 Gannan warriors fell every kilometer.

A movie

On January 24, 1934, the red China newspaper published a feature article entitled "A Wonderful Evening", which reported on the performances of more than 3,000 delegates to the Second All-China Congress of Soviets and the audience of various organs. The performance of the evening was full of "big names", and finally the historical drama "I, the Red Army" written by Shakov was performed.

The report mentioned that in the play, Li Bozhao played the little sister, Hu Di played the general manager of the Jingwei regiment, Zhao Pinsan played the red guerrilla leader, Qian Zhuangfei played the reactionary division commander, and Li Kenong played the local tycoon... This was a famous "star" in the whole Soviet district at that time.

This is not the first time That Qian Zhuangfei has taken the stage, having starred in China's first black-and-white martial arts film, "Yanshan Xia Yin."

In the Central Soviet Region, Qian Zhuangfei directed and starred in "Red Spy", "The Last Supper" written by Him, and "For Whom to Sacrifice" and other dramas, which greatly boosted the morale of soldiers and allowed poor people to better understand the revolution and read the Red Army.

In early October 1934, the Central Red Army was preparing for a strategic shift, and straw shoes were essential supplies.

At that time, the Red Star newspaper mentioned in an article entitled "Quickly completed 20,000 pairs of straw shoes to the front" that from late May to early August, more than 123,000 pairs of grass shoes had been received from various places, but some grass shoes were short or unsuitable. The article called on the masses to quickly complete and strive for "more than 20,000 pairs of straw shoes" and "improve the quality of grass shoes". The article is also accompanied by a cartoon in which two straw shoes are too small and one is damaged, and the text on the side reads: "Sisters in the rear, don't give such straw shoes to the brothers of the Red Army in the front!" ”

This is Qian Zhuangfei's work in August 1934. He publicized the party's voice to the masses with simple and clear articles, accompanied by cartoons that the masses liked to hear.

In the spring of 1935, Qian Zhuangfei was bombed by Kuomintang aircraft in the Wujiang area of Guizhou, lost contact with the troops, and was later identified as a sacrifice.

With Qian Zhuangfei's talent, he could have had many choices in his life, but he chose the most dangerous red agent. His short and brilliant life reflects the firm belief of a Communist Party member - not afraid of difficulties, not afraid of death, not loving money, and fighting for doctrine!
