Guo Shangxian composed cursive calligraphy in 1833 four screens

Guo Shangxian (1785-1832 AD), character Yuan Kai, Lan Shi, Fujian Putian people. In the fourteenth year of Jiaqing (1809), he served as a township examination examiner, a reparator of the National History Museum, a school director of Wenyuan Pavilion, a sichuan scholar, a Zuo Zanshan, and a secretary of Guanglu Temple. In the spring of the twelfth year of Daoguang (1832 AD), he was appointed as the secretary of the Dali Temple and the Right Attendant of the Rebbe, specializing in the examination of the political officials. Guo Shangxian was erudite throughout his life and wrote a wealth of works. He works calligraphy, "Benxue Ouyang, Hou Jianyan, Chu", he is also good at painting, outside of landscapes, especially good at Lan Shi; Its seal carving is simple and thick, and the law is exquisite, and it is known as "going deep into the room of the Han people".
