Due to the relatively recent history, the more authentic calligraphy remains. The development of calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty was relatively peaceful, and the admiration of calligraphy by the rulers of the Qing Dynasty also had a strong political color. Qianlong made a systematic study of the evolution of calligraphy under the Chunhua Ge Ti, dating back to Zhao Mengfu, and found that Zhao was far higher than Dong Qichang in terms of art and historical influence, especially Zhao's special historical identity and Yuan Dynasty background, which was conducive to the political rule of the Qing Dynasty and thus re-established the supreme status of Zhao Ti. This determined the formation of the mainstream school of calligraphy, most of which were high-ranking officials and nobles, such as Shen Quan, Wang Shilin Chasheng, Chen Bangyan, Zhang Zhao, Liu Yong, Weng Fanggang, Liang Tongshu Wang Wenzhi, Qian Zhi, Yongzhi, Tie Bao, etc., of which Weng, Liu, Yong, and Tie were known as the "Four Greats of the Qing Dynasty". Today we recommend the calligraphy works of Guo Shangxian, a famous calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty, and I hope you can like it.
