People's Daily Beijing, December 13 (Li Zheng, Wang Xuan) On the afternoon of December 13, the 6th China-Korea Youth Dream Micro Film Exhibition held a closing ceremony and award ceremony at the INDIGO store of Beijing CGV Cinema, announcing the judging results of five competition units and three non-competition unit awards.

Co-sponsored by the Chinese Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the CJ Cultural Foundation, the China-Korea Youth Dream Micro Film Exhibition is a cultural public welfare project dedicated to excavating and cultivating young film creators and promoting Sino-Korean film and television cultural exchanges, and has been successfully held for five sessions so far.

The 6th China-Korea Youth Dream Micro Film Exhibition began recruitment in June, lasted for three months, and collected a total of 709 works. Among them, "Dog Life" won the unanimous praise of three judges for its advantages of complete storyline, clear structure and full of tension, and finally won the jury award. "Assassin's Row", "Lunch Between Classes", "Happy to Be with You", "Magician on the Roof" won the Director Award, the Screenplay Award, the Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Award, the CJ Dream Reward and other awards respectively. In addition, "Volcanic Wind Forest", "Qilu Father and Son", and "Half Warm Time" won 3 non-competition unit awards respectively.

As a micro-film event created by China and South Korea, the Sino-Korean Youth Dream Micro Film Exhibition has attracted a large number of young Chinese and Korean filmmakers to actively participate since its holding in 2014. Present at the film festival were Kim Dong-ho, former executive chairman of the Busan International Film Festival and chairman of the Gangneung International Film Festival Organization, Lee Sang-geun, winner of the Newcomer Director Award at the 40th Korea Blue Dragon Film Awards, Wu Shengxu, a famous Korean screenwriter and director who won the "Script Award" of the Daejong Awards Film Festival for "August Photo Gallery", and Zhao Tianyu, a Chinese director who directed films such as "Double Food" and "A Little Smile is Falling City".

In his closing speech, Mr. Kim Dong-hu affirmed the film exhibition: "In the past few years, the Sino-Korean Youth Dream Micro Film Exhibition has made positive contributions in stimulating the enthusiasm of young people in China and South Korea for film production, promoting the improvement of film artistic sense and technical strength, and strengthening cultural film and television exchanges between China and South Korea. ”

In addition, Li Xiangjun, Wu Shengxu, Zhao Tianyu and other three judges spoke highly of the production standards of this year's entries, and shared their experiences and suggestions with the participating young directors.

It is reported that after the closing ceremony of the micro-film exhibition, all the award-winning directors in the competition unit will go to South Korea to carry out a one-week training activity, including visiting film production companies, visiting film shooting sites, and face-to-face exchanges with well-known Korean directors.
