Academic test (Note: one of the ways Taiwanese high school students enter the university) results came out, and it was a few joys and a few sorrows. In fact, there is really no need to take the results of the test so seriously! Whether or not to study, become, clean, and make friends is a secondary matter, and whether or not we can cultivate real skills in universities and research institutes is the most important thing. After all, academic qualifications are only used for three to five years in the workplace, and after five years out of school, what you can really rely on is your own ability.
If a person is studying at NTU Motor for four years, and his master's degree is NTU Motor, he will definitely have many job opportunities after graduation. Moreover, five years after graduation, if he wants to find a new job, there will still be many interview opportunities. However, this does not guarantee that he will be able to find a new job - if after five years of graduation, he still deserves only a bright academic qualification, and cannot say what specific results are worth mentioning at work, I am afraid that no company will want him!
As for those who graduated from the Department of Japanese Language in Tamkang, of course, there is no way to enter a high-tech company as a research and development engineer, but there are many possibilities to exert their talents, and they will explore and discover by themselves, such as the travel service industry, catering industry, advertising creativity, marketing planning, etc. The creativity and professionalism required for these jobs is not necessarily lower than that of high-tech companies, but the capabilities required for these jobs often have little to do with school grades. As a result, talent in this area is often discovered after leaving school for a while.
In fact, there are many kinds of talents needed in this society, and most of them cannot be tested by the joint examination. For example, the skills of shopping mall negotiation (shrewd or calculating ability), the ability to communicate and lobby within the group, the ability to analyze where the business opportunities are, the ability to strictly implement the plan (the so-called "competence"), and the care, thoughtfulness, warmth, and enthusiasm required by the service industry, these abilities are often not related to academic qualifications. In fact, the abilities that elite schools can cultivate only account for 30% to 40% of the various abilities in the market, and 60% or 70% of the talents are slowly discovered after leaving the school.
Academic qualifications are not as good as ability, which does not mean that it is useless to go to college. What is taught in college is a basic ability that is often used in some professions, and it is always useful to study well. What's more, although Taiwan's education system is very bad, it still gives students the opportunity to revive many of their failures.
If the test is abnormal, you can take the exam distribution and try to revive the defeated part. If the exam distribution is abnormal, you can consider retaking the exam for one year. If the results of the re-examination are not ideal, there is no way to apply to the ideal school or department, you can also consider going to a less ideal university to miss a department; or to a university that is still willing to go to, to study a department that is barely willing to study. No matter which option you choose, you can also study a minor department, or take a double degree, or even spend an extra year in college for this.
If the test is successful, you may be able to directly enter a school and department you like, and graduate in four years; if the test is not smooth, you still have a great opportunity to enter a school that you are still willing to study, read a department (auxiliary department or double degree) that you are willing to read, and may take an extra year to graduate. Now the average life expectancy of people is seventy-nine years old, spend an extra year to go to college or retake the exam, there is really nothing to worry about!
If you really get out of order every time you take an exam and go to a less than ideal school, as long as you don't give up on yourself, you can easily study in the top three of the class. If you take this result, you have a good chance to enter an ideal master's class; or enter a master's class that you miss based on your written test results.

Entering a prestigious school, there is no hurry at the moment. As long as you don't give up, there is always a chance that the defeated will be resurrected. Moreover, if you want to play your own strengths, you don't have to go to a prestigious school.
Chen Lanshu is the chef of Taichung Lemu French Restaurant. After graduating from the Department of Foreign Languages at National Taiwan University, she decided to take her favorite path, so she went to the Ferrandi School of Culinary Arts in Paris, France for further study. After graduating with the first place, he studied cooking in several three-star restaurants in France, and finally returned to Taiwan to open a shop, specializing in creative cuisine.
Zhang Shiren, the founder of The Japanese Boat Octopus Pill, said that his academic performance was worse than others, and he became a salesman after retiring from the army. When the salesman's performance is worse than others, he has to start a business, specializing in an industry where no one competes with him. Ten years ago, I traveled to Japan and saw that octopus balls were selling hot in Japan, so I decided to return to Taiwan to sell octopus balls. In order to study the sauce and method suitable for Taiwanese tastes, he did not know anything about sauces, he went to various supermarkets to buy various seasonings, and went home to prepare the sauce himself to try. Food poisoning because of trying too many seasonings. After the clueless tasting failed, ran to the library to borrow books to study, boldly changed the octopus balls to fried, with their own research and development of the dipped sauce, the performance began to gradually enter the good situation, from the roadside stall all the way to the storefront, the current global branch more than 350.
People who do not go well in school only lose the opportunity to achieve their dreams by 30%; there are also 60% to 70% talents who need to rely on their persistence and perseverance, and do not give up easily to find their own space to play after years of exploration in the workplace.
There are many ways to succeed, the question is whether parents have the patience to wait and guide, and whether students have the perseverance to persevere and not give up on themselves.
