A few days ago, the Provincial Food and Drug Administration announced the results of the first phase of food safety supervision and sampling this year. A total of 143 batches of samples of bee products, alcohol, meat products, edible agricultural products, condiments, beverages, pastries and other 7 types of food were sampled. Among them, 2 batches of food such as Nagati Ramisu (honey flavor) and Xuefeng cake were unqualified.
The nominal Heilongjiang Wheat Leaf Sweet Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd. produced and sold Najiati ramisu (honey flavor), sorbic acid and its potassium salt (in terms of sorbic acid) detected a value of 2.19g/kg, and the standard stipulates that it should be ≤1g/kg. If the sorbic acid and its potassium salt added to the food exceed the standard seriously, consumers will eat it for a long time, which will inhibit bone growth to a certain extent and endanger the health of the kidneys and liver.
For the unqualified products found in the sampling inspection, the regulatory authorities have ordered food producers and traders to immediately take risk prevention and control measures such as sealing the problem food in stock, suspending the production, sale and use of the problem food, recalling and removing the problem food from the shelves. The Provincial Food and Drug Administration reminds consumers that if they purchase or find unqualified food that has been notified in the market, please call 12331 to complain or report.
