Since he was a child, Hong Tianguifu has read Hong Xiuquan's reading materials for worshiping God, and of course, there are also Mongolian reading materials such as the Three Character Sutra. He rarely got any other books, which was also made by Hong Xiuquan, who could not pass the Xiucai examination and got the worship of God. He decreed that all books called demon books should be burned except for the cult of God.
King Hong Renjie of Gan presented more than 10,000 volumes of ancient books, and Hong Xiuquan did not allow others in the Heavenly King's Mansion to read them for himself, and after reading them, he burned them with fire. Hong Tianguifu stole a few copies of Hong Xiuquan without rest. Although Hong Xiuquan was the monarch of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, he never taught Hong Tianguifu the principle of doing things, but only raised his son in the deep palace, in an attempt to make his son enjoy eternal wealth under his protection.
After Hong Xiuquan's death, Hong Tianguifu came to the foreground from the deep palace and became the young heavenly king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, when he was sixteen years old, but he was ignorant of the government.
