Movie Recommendation - Miracle in the Green

Miracle in the Green is a suspense film produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, directed by Frank De la Bonte and starring Tom Hanks, David Morse, Mike Clark Duncan, and released on December 6, 1999. Adapted from Stephen King's novel Miracle in the Green. The film tells the story of the twentieth century, paul in the nursing home recalls the supernatural events that occurred after john Coffey, a tall black man, was wrongly convicted of coming to death row when he was warden.

"Green Lane" is actually a death rowway, because the floor is green, and others call it "Green Mile". At the other end of the "green lane", there is the electric chair for execution, and the existence of "green li" is to appease the mood of the death row inmate who is about to be executed.

The young Paul, the head of the E-District prison here, seems indifferent to the execution of death row inmates who walk through "Green Lane" and then scream and die in the electric chair. In addition to Paul and his wife Jane, there is also the upright deputy prison superintendent Howell, the warden Hale and his terminally ill wife Melinda, and Drucker, who likes to tease the prison guards and "friends" with pet rats. In stark contrast to these people with a hint of kindness, The Governor's nephew and sadistic warden Percy Serial Killer William, guilty prisoner Peter and others are all kinds of people.

There was hostility and disdain between them, but the arrival of the mysterious John Coffey changed everything. John Coffey was sentenced to death for murder and came to Zone E on a mundane day. He was terrifying in appearance and large in stature, but surprisingly peaceful, even like a child when naïve, and at the same time, he seemed to have a mysterious power that made people involuntarily feel a sense of trust in him, which could not help but make Edgecomb deeply doubt whether his crime was true, and this question grew wildly when Kofi rescued rats and healed Melinda, who had died shortly after suffering from brain tumors. In the end, Paul learns through Kofi's account that Kofi is not a heartbroken murderer, he can be said to be an archangel sent by God to save the souls of the people, generation after generation!
