Adapted from Stephen King's novel of the same name, Miracle in the Green tells the story of an elderly Paul who is caught up in a song reminiscent of his life as a former prison guard.

A tall prisoner named Kofi comes to the prison, and when the guards first see him, they are a little worried that the big man will not fool around in the prison, but after a brief introduction of himself, the warden Paul thinks that Kofi is more like a child.

Timid, crying.

Paul, feeling strange, visited the defense lawyer, who was wrapped in a vine of racial discrimination and was reluctant to challenge the judge's decision.

Fortunately, Kofi did not reject the days in prison, nor did he fear death.

Paul only thought that Kofi was an ordinary prisoner, but when he was attacked by the new prisoner William, the cystitis became more and more severe and he could not walk, and at this time, Kofi let him come to his side and save him with magic. To thank Coffey for his rescue, Paul's wife also made corn bread for him.

Later, Coffey treats Dale's rat and the terminally ill warden's wife, but while rescuing the warden's wife, he accidentally learns that William is the real culprit who really killed the two little girls.

How frightening does a demon's heart make a good angel? Coffey punishes William by borrowing the hand of a prison guard, completing his mission before he is about to make his way to Green Lane.

Kofi is pleasant and relaxed on the road to green.

I believe Kofi is also afraid of death, but he is more afraid of loneliness and human heart. In prison, he must have been afraid, but more because of the inability to save the two little girls, with the prison guards, and the punishment of William, I believe that even if the girls' bodies were not treated, but their souls were saved, no longer with resentment.

With the ability to see into people's hearts, angels came to earth. But prejudice pushed him into the abyss.

He could see the heart of the demon, feel the pain that ordinary people could not perceive, just by holding his hand, the world of the demon would appear in his mind, and even predict the occurrence of disaster.

He tried to save dying people and animals, sucking up their diseases and transforming them into moths in their mouths. He used his miraculous power to change the fate of every good person around him, and sometimes he was helpless because of a black shell.

In the film, there is a stark contrast between a white demon and a black angel.

Whether it was the father of the two girls, or Coffey's defense lawyer, they had a stubborn prejudice in their thinking, and perhaps this prejudice hurt the angel.

03

No one wanted to hear the angel pour out his pain, and he left the magic behind and carried the sorrow away.

Kofi gave the magic to Paul, I think it meant him to carry out justice in a unique capacity, although Paul went to work as a juvenile instructor after Kofi's death, and the other guards went to other posts.

Kofi's death brought with it reflections on their positions, as well as for everyone who has embarked on the path of green.

On this road in the green lane, some people have walked past to carry out justice, and some people have walked past to dedicate themselves to justice.
