Bo Yi, Shu Qi and Bo Ya, Zi Zhi, the story behind these two sages

author:It was passed down to the Third Dynasty

There are so many people in this world, and the name is only two or three words, and there are many names that are accented. If you don't distinguish well, it is easy to confuse, especially the ancients who are far away from us.

When I was a child, due to the lack of reading, I misremembered many characters, and sometimes I would bring obstacles to reading, and when I read, I had to search for it, and then I suddenly realized.

Fortunately, there is a little spare time now, since I did not figure it out before, now I will slowly comb through it, dig out the allusions behind it, or remember the prison point.

Boyi, Shuqi and Boya and Zi are two pairs that are easily confused.

Bo Yi, Shu Qi and Bo Ya, Zi Zhi, the story behind these two sages

It is relatively easy to remember because the idiom of alpine flowing water is very common. So who is the boy and the child?

Boya, a native of the Spring and Autumn Warring States period of the Chu state of yǐng, served as a doctor in the Jin Dynasty and was proficient in the art of playing the piano.

One says that Boya's surname is Yu's name Ruizi Boya, and the other says that Boya is surnamed Boya. In the recorded literature, there are very few deeds about Bo Ya reading, becoming an official, and doing practical things for the people, mostly for small stories such as learning the piano, playing the piano, and breaking the piano, which shows that Bo Ya is a person in temperament, not suitable for politics, suitable for taking the road of acting.

Zhong Zi period, Spring and Autumn Warring States period Chu State Hanyang people. According to legend, Zhong Zi was a woodcutter who wore a bucket hat, a cloak, a flat shoulder, and an axe. History records that when Bo Ya returned to the Chu Kingdom to visit relatives, he was drumming and playing a piano by the Han River, and Zhong Ziqi happened to meet him, sighing: "Majestic like a mountain, the ocean is like a river." Because of their similar interests, the two became close friends. After Zhong Zi's death, Bo Ya believed that the world was no longer ignorant of the sound and would no longer play the piano for the rest of his life.

I forgot who said that the woodcutters in history were not ordinary people, how could ordinary people blurt out: majestic like mountains, oceans like rivers. The secret of Zhong Zi's life also needs to be excavated. Moreover, I also found that the names of historical figures with "sons" were not ordinary people.

Bo Yi, Shu Qi and Bo Ya, Zi Zhi, the story behind these two sages

Uncle Boyi Qi were brothers, so they remembered them together.

Boyi Shuqi was the two sons of King Guzhu of a small princely state at the end of the Shang Dynasty, and by looking at the name, bo yi was the eldest and shuqi was the third oldest.

The old king was biased and wanted to pass the throne to his third son, Shu Qi. Shu Qi refused to inherit, the eldest brother is still there, how can I inherit it, I have to give way to my brother.

The eldest brother Boyi said: The father passed the throne to you, how can I not respect my father's orders and inherit the throne without permission? He refused to resign and fled to the Zhou Kingdom.

Shu Qi saw that the eldest brother was not allowed, and he wanted to abolish the long and young, and the root of chaos was also unwilling to be the king, and fled with his brother from the Lone Bamboo Country.

On the way to flee to Western Zhou, the brothers encountered King Wu of Zhou, who had sent troops to attack Shang, and when King Wen of Zhou had just died, the brothers angrily grabbed King Wu's horse and questioned: If the father dies and is not buried, can it be said that filial piety can be described as filial piety? Is it benevolent to kill the king?

I think that King Wu did not violate filial piety, after all, the war of soldiers was the first major event of the country, and it may be possible to obtain the will of King Wen. As for Ren, Mencius also spoke for King Wen of Zhou: The thief is called a thief, the thief is called a thief, and the thief is called a husband. I have heard of a husband and wife, but I have not heard of a murderer.

However, Boyi Shuqi believed that King Wen of Zhou was disloyal, filial piety, unkind and unjust, so he changed his itinerary and fled to the foot of Shouyang Mountain, where he did not eat Zhou Su and died of starvation.

I only knew the allusion of "not eating Zhou Su" before, but today, when I sort it out, I know the allusion of "Yiqi letting the country" and it is also fruitful.
