author:Yuanji

"蕃" is the Tibetan name for their region, and the title "蕃" is said to have come from ancient times. Because in ancient times, humans engaged in hunting activities, and humans were sparsely scattered, if there was a natural disaster or a beast invasion, it was necessary to unite together to fight, so it was necessary to strengthen the connection. So naturally people use shouting as a contact method, and the voice of "蕃" comes from the shouting between this connection.

There is also a view that the areas of the plateau where livestock is mainly based are called "pastoral areas", the areas where low-valley forestry is mainly called "agricultural areas", and the areas where the temperature and cold are suitable between the two are called "fertile areas".

With the progress of social development, the fertile land has gradually formed a situation in which there are many small states and the forces of the division are hegemonic. There is a legend that a woman named Chamzen in the Povo region gave birth to nine brothers of the Hungry Ghost, the youngest of whom was named Ubeja, who was born with a clear eyebrow and a webbing between his toes. Because Ubeja had great mana, he was expelled by the townspeople and went to the Yalong area.

The people who were looking for the King of Wu met Ubeija, and after some investigation, they felt that Ubeija was the King of Ubeja they were looking for, and the honorific title was "Nie Qi Zampu", and thus established the kingship of Siddhi. The New Book of Tang * Tubo Biography explains "Zampu" as follows, "Its common name is Xiongqiang Yue Zan, husband Yue Pu, so the name Junchang Yue Zangpu." Later Tibetan views held that in the Yongzhong Bon belief, "Zan" was a very fierce and terrifying, fierce and violent deity, both spiritual and revered object, with the status of a protective god.

By the time of the 31st generation of Zampu Nangri Songtsam, king Sidhuye had already migrated to the north bank of the Brahmaputra River and gradually unified the territory. However, the unified areas of Dabo, Gongbu, and Nyungbu in Nangri Songzan had not yet been fully incorporated into the rule of the SiddhanYe Dynasty, and the remote states of Zhangxiong and Yak Subi were not fully subjugated. Within the Siddhartha Dynasty, there were also rebellious forces. In the end, Nanri Songzan was poisoned.

The poisoned Nangri Songzan was songtsen gampo's father. At this time the thirteen-year-old Songtsen Gampo was put on the throne. Songtsen Gampo made a detailed investigation of the topography of the central tubo region and chose the lower reaches of the Lhasa River, the Central Wotang Lake along the River from Dazi to Qushui, and built the Potala Palace in the center of the Red Mountain. It was then built into the core of the ruling pan. The Dunhuang Ben Tubo Historical Document says that Songtsen Gampo "rewards the good, punishes the evil, and suppresses the high by law to facilitate the protection of the lowly." ”

Songtsen Gampo unified Tubo and established the management system and legal provisions of Tubo society, collectively known as the "Thirty-Six Systems of Tubo Foundation". These include: six codes of law, six political systems, six levels of praise, six signs, six kinds of body, and six kinds of courage.

The six codex include the Standard of Weights and Measures Act. During the Songtsen Gampo period, Tibet was already a unified country, and out of political and economic needs, unified weights and measures became a very important thing. The legal units of weights and measures in the Songtsen Gampo period were: liters, two, pu, pluck, money, points, centimeters, and beans. These units measure grain, ghee, gold, silver, etc. in categories. The unification of weights and measures played a very important role in the smooth exchange of agricultural and animal husbandry products and the development of the commercial economy at that time.

Modern Tibetan was also created during the Songtsen Gampo period. Zampsong Zanganpo sent sixteen sons of Xiangchen to Study in India. Some of them were afraid of hardships and obstacles, some died of heat stroke in India, and some people returned to Tibet because they did not understand Sanskrit, but they were not able to truly learn Indian characters. So Songtsen Gampo sent Tunmi Sambuza to Study in India, and brought with him a liter of shakin and a gift to King Bekin of India, Kbu Narachin.

Tunmi Sambuza devoted seven years of study in India to becoming a very influential scholar, and then returned to Tibet with classics and gifts. Tunmi Sangbuza is based on the Sanskrit characters Lengzha and Kashmir Mila characters as vowel consonants, and created Tibetan glyphs in the Maru Palace, where Tsampsong Tsang Gampo once lived in seclusion.

Tibetan is a pinyin script with 34 vowel consonants and has been used for 1,300 years since its inception.
