However, Pan Jie firmly believes that actors have a future. In the past 14 years, Pan Jie has successfully resolved more than 450 contradictions and disputes, provided legal services and legal aid to enterprises and the masses in the jurisdiction more than 500 times, and volunteered to give 175 legal popularization classes for the masses. Under her leadership, the Seongnam Judicial Institute was awarded the "National Advanced Judicial Institute" golden signboard, and she herself has been selected into the list of "Top Ten Judicial Directors" and "Excellent Judicial Directors".
People's mediation is the "first line of defense" for building social harmony, and it is also one of the main responsibilities shouldered by judicial administrators. Doing this work well is inseparable from two elements, namely, the patience of telling things and the reserve of legal knowledge.
Patience, Pan Jie is not lacking; reserves, Pan Jie is too hard. The day before the Spring Festival in 2019, the mediator of pioneer village in Qingjiangpu District called Pan Jie for help: The two sons of Mrs. Yang in the village did not fulfill their maintenance obligations, did not ask questions about the old mother, no matter how to do ideological work, it did not work, the old man had to live in the village department, what to do? After answering the phone, Pan Jie rushed to the Pioneer Village, found the home of Mrs. Yang's two sons, and gave them "lessons" one by one to popularize the law. After more than 4 hours of mediation, Mrs. Yang's two sons were convinced, took the old man home from the village department, accompanied the old man to eat Chinese New Year's Eve meal, and ushered in the New Year.
"Similar disputes caused by the failure to fulfill the obligation of maintenance, the root cause is that they do not understand the law." Pan Jie said. In fact, in order to make good use of the channel of law popularization and reduce the occurrence of contradictions and disputes from the source, as early as 2012, Pan Jie took the lead in creating a microblog platform for legal popularization in the Huai'an Municipal Judicial Office. In 2017, Pan Jie re-innovated - in 7 villages under the jurisdiction of the Chengnan Judicial Institute, she created the "Farun Minsheng" WeChat group with the lawyer in the village as the group leader, pushing legal popularization information to the villagers every day and accepting legal advice from the masses.
"This WeChat group, good! When encountering legal problems and contradictions and disputes, we must respond to our needs. Feng Mou, a villager in Hancheng Village, Qingjiangpu District, said that two years ago, his house was facing demolition, and for the demolition compensation that was about to arrive, her husband intended to monopolize it, and the husband and wife were inseparable. The problem is that Feng mou is disabled, walking in a wheelchair, plus he is a foreigner, which seems very helpless. In desperation, Feng decided to ask for help from the "Farun Minsheng" WeChat group.
"Unexpectedly, after Director Pan learned of the situation, he came to my house to do mediation work." Feng said that during the mediation process, Pan Jie ran back and forth between the district legal service center, the street office and the village committee, and finally helped her safeguard her legitimate rights and interests. Half a year later, the house was demolished, and Feng received two sets of resettlement houses as desired.
