Why are so many countries and international organizations willing to participate in this EXPO? Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, said that this is not only because of the role of the "four major platforms" embodied in the previous three CIIE and the fruitful results achieved by the participating countries, but also because the CIIE has built a platform for building a community with a shared future for mankind, and developed countries, developing countries and least developed countries can all gain and gain, and can deeply appreciate the attractiveness of the open market behind the EXPO platform.
At a time when the global epidemic is still spreading and the world economy continues to be sluggish, countries need to "be together", which may be the first online national exhibition set up at the Fourth CIIE, so that countries can "get together" in the cloud.

Economic and trade cooperation
As an important country in the Pacific island region, Fiji is a natural extension of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". In 2018, China and Fiji signed a memorandum of understanding on jointly building the Belt and Road Cooperation. In October 2019, during the "Third China-Pacific Island Countries Economic Development Cooperation Forum", China and Fiji signed six cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding on infrastructure construction cooperation, which effectively promoted China-Fiji economic and trade pragmatic cooperation.
In recent years, the economic and trade integration between the two countries has been deepening. According to statistics, from January to July 2021, the import and export volume of Goods in China and Fiji was 250 million US dollars, an increase of 47% year-on-year. Among them, China's exports to Fiji were 210 million US dollars, an increase of 30% year-on-year; China's imports from Fiji were 36.41 million US dollars, an increase of 596% year-on-year. By the end of 2020, Chinese enterprises had invested nearly US$200 million in Fiji directly, and Fiji had invested US$5.5 million in China.
