Hennessy Performance Engineering announced on August 19, 2021 that the new hennessy venom f5 is sold out. Unveiled at sema 2017, the venom f5 is a supercar designed to be the fastest road car in the world. According to its official forecast, the speed of the new car will exceed 483km/h. The acceleration from 0 to 300km/h takes less than 10 seconds, and 0-400kph-0 is expected to be controlled within 30 seconds.

The Hennessy Venom F5 is equipped with a newly developed 7.4-liter V8 gasoline twin-turbo engine with a maximum output of more than 1600 horsepower. It has a maximum output of 1817 hp/8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 165 kgm. The air resistance coefficient is 0.33 and the transmission is equipped with a 7-speed single clutch with paddle shifters. Due to the active use of carbon materials, the vehicle weighs only 1360 kg. 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is less than 3 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h is less than 5 seconds, and 0 to 300 km/h is less than 10 seconds, faster than today's f1 cars. The top speed announced four years ago was 483 km / h, but it is said to have actually exceeded 500 km / h.
The v8 engine features a newly designed cast iron block and aluminum cylinder head, and the engine is handcrafted from precision parts made of metals such as aluminum, titanium and Inconel. These include crankshafts, pistons, valves and connecting rods. The unique intake manifold design places an intercooler between the booster chamber and the cylinder head to reduce the air temperature of the turbine before the charge air enters the combustion chamber. As a result, the air density increases and the power efficiency increases.
The transmission is a 7-speed transmission with paddle shifters. Carbon-ceramic brakes, forged aluminum wheels and lightweight penske dampers are used to keep spring weights low. It also lowers the center of gravity by pushing the powertrain deep into the vehicle's structural chassis. The engine is a dry sump system that keeps the crank height low on the ground.
The model has five driving modes: Sport, Track, Track, Wet and F5. By switching it, you can change the vehicle's power, traction and braking performance. Only f5 mode can exert the maximum power of the engine. The tires are Michelin pilot cup sport 2 265/35r19 front wheels and 345/30r20 rear wheels.
The interior design is simple but has many original elements. The space designed with the fighter cockpit as the theme maximizes the pilot's field of view while minimizing distractions.
When the gull wing doors open, a carbon fiber steering wheel inspired by the fighter's cockpit and F1 machine steering wheel takes center stage. The grip is partially leather-covered and the other part is carbon fiber. There are lights, wipers and turn signal switches on the steering wheel. There is a switch mode dial that can switch between motion, wet, drag, track, and f5 modes.
Hennessy Performance Engineering plans to build 24 venom F5s. The base price is $2.1 million.
