Oysters are a very common type of seafood, especially in the summer, and many roadside barbecue stalls will find it. What oysters sashimi, garlic oysters, etc., can be said to be a seafood that many people must order when eating barbecue. And many friends may find such a phenomenon, obviously looks exactly the same, why there are barbecue stalls called it oysters, some are called oysters or oysters.
Oysters, bivalves, oysteraceae shellfish, which are widely distributed in China, from the Yalu River in the north to Hainan Island in the south. There are at least 36 natural species of oysters in the world, and 20 of them have commercial value in China. The world's most abundant oysters are the long oyster, also known as the true oyster, as well as some common Omi oysters, Dalian Bay oysters and so on. And for foodies, no matter what variety it is, as long as the meat is fat and tender, delicious.
Oysters are often called oysters and oysters in the north, while in the south, whether they are raw or cooked, they are also called "oyster yellow" or "oyster" (he), such as the famous snack "oyster fry" in southern Fujian. Because oysters and oysters look the same, many people think they are one, but the names are different. And the truth is that these two things are really not the same, or it can be understood that oysters and oysters belong to the same species, different classes.
Oysters are the larger of the oyster varieties, and generally larger oyster shells can be more than 1 pound. It grows mainly at the confluence of rivers and the sea, or in the shallow waters of the half-salty and half-light inner bay. Due to the limited growing conditions, its number is much less than that of other oyster varieties. With the increase in market demand, such oysters began to be cultivated in large areas, so most of the oysters on people's tables were artificially farmed.
It is said that oysters are "men's gas stations, women's beauty salons" because it is rich in trace elements "zinc" (the first zinc contained in human food). Of course, this is only for oysters, not all oysters. Every 100g of oysters contains 71.2 mg of zinc, while the same weight of oysters has only 9.39 mg, and the zinc content of oysters is 7.6 times higher than that of ordinary oysters. And the protein content in oyster meat is also as high as 40%, so it is often called "milk in the sea". Therefore, many people say that the oyster with the highest zinc content refers to "oysters", not oysters in general.
There are many ways to eat oysters, the most common of which are steaming, charcoal roasting, sashimi and so on. Personally, I think the best way to eat it is steaming, which is not only clean and hygienic, but also has an extremely delicious taste. Since oysters can only survive for a maximum of 1-2 weeks after leaving the sea, if you eat oysters freshly, you must eat them during this time. Oysters like cold and do not like heat, if there is no end to eat oysters, it is recommended to put in 0-5 ° C environment to preserve, as long as the surface remains moist, do not have to soak in water.
Wild oysters in nature are all diploid, until 1993, american professors Ximing Guo and Professor Standish Allen, they crossed ordinary diploid oysters with quadrupled quadloid oysters to breed and bred to produce triploid long oysters. This triploid oyster gains 30% more weight per year, is 2-3 times the size of ordinary oysters, and is stress-resistant, not easy to get sick, and the nutrition is the same as oysters. China's triploid oysters have been successfully bred as early as 1999, and currently have breeding bases in Shandong and Liaoning.
