Last year, the legendary Japanese troupe "Tokyo Incident" returned after eight years of dissolution, which made many music fans cheer up. After releasing several singles, "Tokyo Incident" finally released a new album "Music" this year. It's been 10 years since their last full album, Discovery, and Music is naturally highly anticipated.

"Music" is still a very "Tokyo Incident" style album. The ordering and title of the tracks continue the symmetrical aesthetic of the "Tokyo Incident", with the first song "Peacock" corresponding to the last song "One Service", "Purple Electricity" corresponding to "Green Wine", and "The Account of Destiny" corresponding to "The Principle of the Beast". In addition to the drummer Blade Field, the other four all handed over their own creations - although the lead singer Shiina Hayashiburo is the main backbone of the "Tokyo Incident", the "Tokyo Incident" is not just "Shiina Hayashiki and her band", and everyone's musical preferences and styles can be well reflected in the band.

In Music, Shiina Hayashina collects 13 lyrics and two and a half compositions ("Peacock" co-wrote with guitarist Fumi), and pianist and guitarist Kazuya Izawa also contributed six pieces. The piano is therefore the album's most outstanding instrument, whether it is the smooth and lyrical piano backing of "The Account of Destiny" or the jazzy piano accompaniment of "Purple Electricity", which is impressive. Guitarist Fu Yun contributed an independently composed song "Golden Ratio", and he almost became the band's "second lead singer", and has contributed voices in songs such as "Galaxy People". My favorite is "Poison Taste" and "The Truth of the Beast" by bassist Seiji Kameda, Kameda is a j pop god, these two songs have become a rare catchy, approachable work on the album, and the bass he played in "Poison Taste" is also very impressive.

However, compared with the previous works of the "Tokyo Incident", "Music" is not "good". With the exception of a few songs, most of the songs on the album are more and more melodic, but rely on excellent arrangement and glue, which is difficult for listeners to remember. As a return album of the "Tokyo Incident", the symbolism of "Music" is greater than the quality of the work. (For more news, please pay attention to Yangcheng Pie pai.ycwb.com)
