Read the poem Cen Shan's "Envoy to Beijing"

author:The poetry of the world's history

The old garden looks at the road to the east,

The sleeves of the dragon bell did not dry up.

Meet right away without paper and pencil,

By the word of the King, peace is reported.

Cen Shan, a Tang Dynasty poet and Gao Shi also known as "Gao Cen", wrote this poem when the poet was 34 years old, and the first half of his life was unsuccessful, so he went out to serve in gilding, which was written in 749 AD. It was Cen Shan's first trip to the Western Regions to serve as the secretary of the Shogunate of Gao Xianzhi, the envoy of Anxi Jiedushi, and on the way to Anxi to take office, he met an emissary who happened to enter Beijing, and the distance between Biansai and Beijing was long, and the poet was homesick and asked the emissary to pass on a message and write this poem.

Brief analysis:

"The Road to the East of the Old Garden is long" - write about the real scene and feelings in front of you. "Looking east" shows that you are walking west, and Chang'an is in the east. "The road is long" is a feeling, indicating that the road is far away and suggesting homesickness.

"Double-sleeved dragon bell tears do not dry" - write about the passion of missing your loved ones, sobbing, exaggerated several degrees, but very measured, no embellishment. Not only let the "thinking" go further. At the same time, it makes sense to carry the following books.

"Meet right away without a pen and paper. By the word of the king, I will report peace"---------------------------------------------------------- The last sentence is clean and sharp, but it is very affectionate.

The whole poem is not carved, as if it is handy, blurted out, and the feelings are sincere. In particular, the last two sentences are full of a strong atmosphere of life in the side plug, that is, there is a taste for life, and there is a human touch, fresh and bright, deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, intriguing.
