From the thirteenth year of the middle school (859), Luo Yin participated in the imperial examination, and to the fifth year of Qianfu (878), he returned from the imperial examination, and with the spiritual strength of "not believing in evil", he took the examination twelve or three times in twenty years, creating a miracle in the history of the imperial examination, which is called "the tenth in the tenth".

It was this unbelieving poet who, after the last examination, traveled south to Hubei, returned to southern Anhui in the east, lived in seclusion in Chizhou in the first year of Guangming (880), and in the second year of Tang Zhonghe (882), he went from Chizhou to Xuanzhou to serve as Xuanshe's observation envoy, and heard that There were rumors in Guangde that Zhang Bo "tasted to turn into a pig to cure water" and the custom of the county people to "be very careful in everything and abstain from eating pork".

After Luo Yin arrived in Guangde, he immediately rushed to the ancestral mountain and walked around the ancestral court, in addition to feeling that the temple was majestic and the architecture was grand, he did not put the god of the ancestral mountain in his eyes at all, arrogantly he inscribed a poem on the wall of the temple, saying," "Treading all over the world' end of the road, not believing in evil in life", when he was preparing to write the last two sentences, he felt that someone had pulled his hand, and heard someone say to him: "If the last two sentences are not good, you can fold your hands", Luo Yin was afraid, and hurriedly said: "If it is not good, I will follow the words of God", the voice just fell, and the hands returned to normal. Then the title continued two sentences, "Emperor Zhang of the Ancestral Mountain, the ghost god of the world", although the poet did not believe in evil in his life, but when he arrived at the temple of Emperor Zhang, he felt his spirituality and still respected him as the ghost god of the world.

After Luo Yin inscribed the wall of the ancestral mountain, it became a major victory of the ancestral court, until the Yuan Dynasty, there were still people to visit, the poet Hu Zhu once admired the name, leaving a verse "do not see the inscription Luo Virgin, the general is against the iron clothing".

Luo Yin (833-909), real name Luo Heng (羅横), courtesy name Zhaozhi, was a native of Xincheng County (present-day Fuyang District, Hangzhou). After the Huangchao Uprising, he avoided chaos and lived in seclusion in Jiuhua Mountain. In the third year of Guangqi (887), he returned to Hangzhou in the east, and according to the Wuyue king Qian Wei, he successively served as Qiantang Ling, Si Xun Langzhong, and Zhi Shi. There are "Jia Yi Collection", "Book of Rumors", "Two Books of The Same", "Luo Yin Notice", "Demon Chaos Zhi" and "Wu Yue Palm Records" and other surviving.
