Fu Bo general Ma Yuan two or three things

author:Minimalist LiFe

"Ma Ge Shroud": Ma Yuan, a famous general of the Eastern Han Dynasty, who quelled the turmoil in the borderlands, was named General Fubo by the imperial court. After returning to the Capital Division, everyone congratulated him, and Ma Yuan heroically said to the people: "At present, the Xiongnu and Wuhuan are still invading the northern frontier, and I would like to ask the emperor to let me lead the troops to fight a good battle with the enemy." The boy should die in battle with the battlefield of the frontier, wrap the body in horse leather and return it, who can lie comfortably on the bed, and finally die next to his wife and children! This is where the "Shroud of Ma Ge" comes from.

"Pile rice like a mountain": In 32 AD, the Guangwu Emperor Liu Xiu personally led an army to attack Kui Huan. The army reached Qi County (陳县, in modern Bin County, Shaanxi), but stopped advancing because of the unknown enemy situation. Many generals believe that it is not easy to go deep into dangerous places at present. Emperor Guangwu hesitated. At this critical moment, Ma Yuan was ordered to arrive. Emperor Guangwu was overjoyed and summoned him overnight. Ma Yuan believed that the Kui Clan had fallen apart and that the current attack would surely lead to a complete victory.

Ma Yuan found rice, piled it into a mountain valley, pointed out the terrain, and explained to emperor Guangwu where to attack and how to fight. After listening to his analysis, Emperor Guangwu was very happy and said, "The enemy's situation has been fully revealed before my eyes, and this battle will certainly be won."

After the battle began, the Han army destroyed the enemy completely, and Kui Huan fled in a hurry, and his thirteen generals and more than 100,000 infantry all surrendered. This is the allusion to the idiom "pile rice for the mountain".

"Coix Pearl": When Ma Yuannan conquered jiaotong toe (ancient place name, generally referring to the area south of Wuling), he often ate a fruit called "coix" (a perennial herb, commonly known as "medicinal corn"). This fruit can drive away the cold and avoid miasma, and soldiers who fight in the south will inevitably eat it regularly. When the class master returned to Beijing, Ma Yuan brought back a cart full of one, one intending to eat it himself and one preparing to make seeds. Unexpectedly, someone saw this bulging cart of things, so they spent the belly of a gentleman with the heart of a villain, saying that Ma Yuan had taken a cart of pearls from the south and brought it back. This matter spread ten times, ten to a hundred, and spread throughout the capital.

Ma Yuan had just died, and Ma Wu and Hou Yu wrote to Emperor Guangwu, saying that when Ma Yuan was fighting in the south, he had stolen a cart of treasures to bring back to The Jing Division; only because Ma Yuan was favored that year, he did not play it to Emperor Guangwu. Emperor Guangwu was furious and ordered a strict investigation.

Ma Yuan's wife and children did not know what crime Ma Zhi had committed, so they had to bury Ma Yuan hastily. After the funeral, Ma Yuan's family tied themselves with straw ropes and went to the imperial court to plead guilty. Emperor Guangwu showed them Ma Wu and Hou Yu's recitals, and Ma Yuan's family knew that they had suffered great grievances. After the truth came out, Emperor Guangwu asked Ma Yuan's family to rebury Ma Yuan. This is the story of the Pearl of Coix.

Book of the Later Han Dynasty. Ma Yuan's biography: "The southern coix is really big. Aid wants to plant, the army is still ... And after the death, those who have written a book, thinking that the preceding ones are also pearls. ”

Today's story is over, thank you!!!
