Jesus: The Crucifixion and resurrection

author:People are on the way

Jesus is the founder of Christianity, and world history chronicles his birth as the Common Era.

For example, in 221 BC, 221 years before Jesus was born, Qin Shi Huang unified the six kingdoms; for example, this year is the year 2021, when Jesus was born.

First, the origin of Christianity

In the first year of the Common Era, during the prosperity of the Roman Empire, Caesar's heir Octavian expanded the territory of the Roman Empire to Asia, Europe and Africa, and the Palestinian area at that time came under the jurisdiction of the Roman governor Pilate.

That year, in bethlehem, a suburb of Jerusalem, the Virgin Mary became pregnant and Jesus was born.

Jesus was born

When he grew up, he went to Jerusalem every year to pray and gain a wealth of knowledge and founded Christian doctrine. At the age of thirty, he began to collect twelve disciples, teach the multitudes, and perform miracles.

The main message of Jesus was: God loves you and is with you, loves one another, and everyone is extremely precious.

He called on the populace to liberate Palestine from the rule of the Roman Empire and rebuild the prosperous Hebrew Kingdom of David. (The Kingdom of David, referring to the heyday of the reign of The First King of Israel, Saul, and David the Shepherd, in the 10th century BC.) )

Jesus' preaching and preaching brought the gospel to the suffering underclass of the time. In the minds of the Jewish people, Jesus was both a prophetic saint and the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of David.

Second, betrayal and judgment

This offended the Roman rulers and the interests of Judaism, which had been preaching there for many years. So the Jewish leaders bribed Judas, one of the twelve disciples, with 30 silver coins, and sent soldiers to Rome to arrest and judge them.

The Last Supper

At the Last Supper, Jesus preached the meaning of the Lord's Supper and the covenant, and then he said a word that surprised the disciples: "Behold, those who betray me, eat with me." ”

By this time, the Roman soldiers had come to the table, not knowing who Jesus was. Judas left the table and came to Jesus and kissed him, so that the Roman soldiers recognized and captured Jesus.

Many trials of Jesus were carried out without finding evidence of guilt, and the leaders of the Jewish religion admitted that Jesus had obeyed the Jewish law intact, in addition to claiming to be God. But they persuaded the Roman governor Pilate to order Jesus' execution.

III. The "Bitter Road" of Suffering

Jesus put on a crown of thorns, was driven away by the soldiers, and whipped him with a whip, and went to the crucifixion site through fourteen "bitter roads."

Bitter Road

The first stop, the Roman Forum where Jesus was judged, was humiliated by the multitudes; the second stop, bearing a heavy cross, weeping for the destruction of those who did evil and unenlightened;

In the fourth stop, the Virgin Mary saw the Son on his way to death; at the fifth stop, a well-meaning man named Siman helped Jesus carry up the cross;

At the sixth stop, a woman wiped the sweat of Jesus with a handkerchief and found that the handkerchief was covered with blood, and she was sad and desperate. Named after him, the Church of Veronica was built here, latin meaning "truth";

At the eighth stop, Jesus said to the multitude of weeping women: Do not weep for me, for your children, for the future of Jerusalem. Today there is a weeping church in the shape of teardrops.

At the third, seventh, and ninth stops of the Wrrith, Jesus was pushed and shoved three times and fell, and later, churches were built.

Finally, we reached Mount Zion on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Jesus was crucified by Roman soldiers and died in the crucifixion.

Fourth, resurrection

Three days later, Jesus was resurrected.

resurrection

Why the resurrection, the matter goes back more than 1,400 years.

At that time, saint Moses obeyed God's will of Jehovah and led the Israelites out of Egypt to their homeland of Palestine.

During their return, the Israelites could not bear the difficult and difficult living conditions, so they began to complain and slander God and Moses. When the Lord heard this, he commanded the serpent to choose one of them to bite to death as punishment.

Moses asked for forgiveness for them, so God commanded Moses to build a bronze serpent to hang on a high place, and if anyone was bitten by a serpent, they could be resurrected by looking up at the bronze serpent—this was God's oracle.

Jesus was executed, resurrected on the third day, and remained on earth for another 40 days to continue preaching, after which he ascended back to the Father's side and stood on the right side.

This is the crucifixion and resurrection of The Christian Jesus.
