Overseas network on November 3, the United States recently released a survey results show that the United States police in the process of law enforcement, the frequency of violence against black girls is much higher than that of white girls.

According to the US "Capitol Hill" reported on the 2nd, the US non-profit news organization "Marshall Plan" released a survey on the same day, through the integration of 6 large police departments related data, found that from 2015 to 2020, nearly 4,000 teenagers under the age of 17 in the United States experienced some form of police violence. Of these, about 800 (about 20 per cent) are black girls, compared to only 120 white girls, or just 3 per cent of the population.

The findings show that many of these cases are conflict caused by small incidents, but some American police officers overreact when the girls show slight incompatibility, choosing to beat and use stun guns or other weapons to point at the unarmed girls. The situation was even more severe in New Orleans, where data analysis showed that all the girls victims in cases involving the use of force by new Orleans police were black.

Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, said that between 2005 and 2017, thousands of children and adolescents in the United States went to hospitals after clashes with law enforcement. Among them, black girls aged 15 to 19 are 4 times more likely to be harmed in these cases than white girls.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that between 2015 and 2019, 21,000 minors were treated in hospitals for nonfatal injuries caused by police or security guards, one-third of whom were black, but black children made up only 13 percent of U.S. minors.
