The earliest native fish species may have been a few loaches in a small river, or three or two rice field fish, but most of them were games played by children decades ago.
In the ideology of our people, there are actually only two kinds of ornamental fish, one is a goldfish, the other is a koi, and grass goldfish cannot be counted as ornamental fish.
Later, two kinds of native fish became popular, one is the Chinese fighting fish, the other is the white cloud gold wire, they are very famous in the world, but often by aquarists classified as small tropical fish or lamp fish, and do not explicitly say that they are native fish, so that many new aquarists, are mistaken for tropical fish.
And the real emergence of the term native fish, and among aquarists to spread the word, but originated from a small, we can see everywhere when we were young, they have now become the leader of the native ornamental fish, it is the trout, as long as you accidentally catch them, you can throw everywhere a colorful small fish.

It is precisely because of their large variety, bright color, easy to catch at will, and relatively easy to obtain, so that they have become popular, compared to many other native fish that are currently difficult to collect, the trout has taken advantage of the innate advantage.

Pomfret belongs to the ornamental fish of the subfamily (yu), there are more than 30 species in three genera in China alone, they also have a large group of twin brothers, can also be mixed with them, the name is the representative species of the subfamily, called the carp.
The most popular species of salmon are high-body salmon, Shitai salmon, Chinese salmon, Fang's quarry and many other species.
The species of the genus Hetian's mud, there are Many varieties such as Qi's carp, colored carp, beardless carp, Guangxi carp, Emei carp, oblique carp and many other varieties, which are not listed here.
Many aquarists don't quite understand the difference between anchovies and trout, and are their habits the same?
In fact, their habits and reproductive methods are similar, and the difference in body shape is not very large, but there are two main points, which require our special attention:
One is that most of the mackerel is beardless, and most of the scorpions have beards.
This is like the difference between koi and grass gold, of course, this method is not so absolute, there are also individual species of squid, and there will be no mud carp, but only individual phenomena and very individual species.
The other is that the lateral line of the trout is very short, only able to cover three or five scales, at the front of the body, while the lateral line of the scorpion is from beginning to end.
In addition, the shape of the fish will look slightly more square than the fish.

Because the breeding habit of the salmon is to have to coexist with the river, as well as their timidity and fear, like to swim in groups, so the general breeding of sturgeon, need to be in the fish tank or raise some small river mussels, about the breeding of sturgeon, in my previous articles have long been introduced, here do not need to mention.
All in all, it is best to raise sturgeon to use artificial landscaping tanks, imitating their outdoor living environment, laying bottom sand and pebbles, and planting some aquatic weeds appropriately, which makes our fish tanks have some native fish charm.
Like the Chinese fighting fish, most of them are used to raise alone, and the white cloud golden silk fish is put into the grass tank, and mixed with other lamp fish, which almost does not reflect the taste of China's native ornamental fish.
Because the bladder is not very bold, so their group swimming effect will be very good, and raising a single species of trout does not reflect their colorful, and if it is polycultured with other species or their oviparous brothers, the appreciation effect will be better, because the sturgeon itself likes to live in groups with the scorpion, which is like a thick-lined silver plate and red-bellied goby fish, and the habits are similar.
Unless we are in need of specialized breeding, single-species orientation breeding.

Most of the salmon and mackerel are not picky about the water temperature, this problem I have long said, to see their origin, such as living in our local salmon, above zero degrees can be safe winter, but their best living temperature is still around 18 degrees, most do not like the high temperature environment.
For water quality problems, they do not have too much demand, roughly neutral water quality, but the stability of the feeding environment requirements are relatively high.
The need for open water, there is a certain obstacle environment, not too suitable for smaller fish tanks to raise, another point is, the pomfret and the scorpion, they are all high-oxygen fish, fish tanks absolutely do not lack of oxygen, can be properly oxygen, especially in the summer high temperature environment should pay more attention to, fresh water quality, density is not too large and dissolved oxygen is sufficient.
Although they can tolerate low temperatures, but this does not mean that the water temperature changes sharply they will not get sick, we should also pay attention to this, especially the wild catch of the trout, more likely to be afraid, psychological depression, at this time once the temperature difference is too large, the trout and the carp will suffer from white spot disease, serious water mold, excessive fright may jump the tank.
The last point is the food problem of the salmon and the scorpion, this is also relatively simple, they are mainly omnivorous, but not can not eat meat, all kinds of algae, fish feed, rice, fish worms and the like, as long as their mouths can eat into it, almost everything to eat, do not be picky.
In addition, since the salmon is not picky eaters, then their mouths are not very honest, a little small mouth, not suitable for wide fins, long fins, and extremely weak ornamental fish polyculture, other tool fish and other ornamental fish, and their polyculture is no problem.
Salmon and scorpionfish, only group culture can come out of the effect of group swimming, if the feeding density is too low, too much landscaping, may lead to a small number of long-term depression, do not dare to see people, we should also pay attention to this.
It is best to raise about 20 or more at a time, of course, this requires that our fish tank water body can not be too small, at least 80 cm fish tank is better.
