Zhao Yiman (formerly known as Li Kuntai), born in 1905, was guided by his family Zheng Youzhi after the outbreak of the May Fourth Movement and accepted new cultural ideas.

In 1926, Zhao Yiman joined the Communist Party of China.

In 1931, Zhao Yiman was sent to the northeast region to carry out anti-Japanese work, and before leaving, she left her only group photo with her son.

During the battle, Zhao Yiman was unfortunately captured. The enemy knew the importance of Zhao Yiman and wanted to use Zhao Yiman as a breakthrough, but Zhao Yiman was tortured and did not betray the organization and the people, and because of his serious injuries, the enemy had to send Zhao Yiman to the hospital for treatment.

In the hospital treatment, Zhao Yiman used her wisdom to actively publicize the truth of resisting Japan and saving the country, and her sense of faith and strong faith infected the people guarding her, so she escaped from the hospital. But soon Zhao Yiman was arrested again.

In 1936, before zhao Yiman died, he was still shouting the slogans of "Down with Japanese imperialism" and "Long live the Chinese Communist Party", and when a Japanese officer asked Zhao Yiman what else to say, she handed over the paper scroll in her hand and said: "Pass these words to my son in my hometown!" ”

This family letter has been passed on for 21 years, and finally reached the hands of Zhao Yiman's son!
