The leader of the Taiwan region acknowledged that "AMERICAN soldiers are in Taiwan," and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said that cracking down on "Taiwan independence" separatist acts does not cost anything

Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, answered reporters' questions on October 28.

Q: In an interview with CNN on October 28, Tsai Ing-wen once again flaunted so-called "democracy," described the mainland's just actions against "Taiwan independence" as a "threat," and threatened to develop Taiwan's military strength to confront the mainland, acknowledging that "US servicemen are in Taiwan," claiming confidence in the United States in "assisting in taiwan defense," and clamoring for Taiwan's "participation in the United Nations." Any comments on this?

Answer: Tsai Ing-wen and the DPP authorities stubbornly promote "Taiwan independence," spread "Taiwan independence" remarks in the international arena on various occasions, package "Taiwan independence" ideas under the guise of "democracy and freedom," deceive international public opinion, and clamor for "resisting reunification by force" and "relying on the United States to seek independence." Tsai's interview with CNN once again exposed his stubbornness in his "Taiwan independence" plot.

Since the DPP authorities came to power, they have been incompetent in their administration and the people's livelihood has complained, but they have been preoccupied with creating ethnic contradictions, suppressing speech, deceiving the people, dividing Taiwan society, vigorously engaging in "green terror," and frantically suppressing dissidents. Promoting "de-Sinicization" and "gradual Taiwan independence" and forcibly severing the flesh-and-blood ties between the Taiwan people and the Chinese culture and the Chinese nation have greatly harmed the fundamental interests of the vast number of Taiwan compatriots.

In order to achieve political goals, they will not hesitate to use despicable means to carry out all kinds of political manipulations, so what qualifications do they have to talk about "democracy and freedom" in person? The DPP authorities are clinging to the countries concerned under the guise of "democracy and freedom," and are essentially seeking "independence" in the international community.

The DPP authorities have constantly carried out "Taiwan independence" provocations. This is the root cause of undermining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and raising the risk of the situation in the Taiwan Strait. The DPP authorities' "using force to resist reunification" and "relying on the United States to seek independence" and using the blood and sweat money of the Taiwan people to buy arms will only bring damage to the interests of the Taiwan people and bring military disasters to the island. We have zero tolerance for "Taiwan independence." Cracking down on "Taiwan independence" separatist acts does not cost anything. No one should underestimate our strong determination, firm will and strong ability to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity!

There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is part of China, and the People's Republic of China is the sole legitimate Government representing all of China. Taiwan has no right to participate in the United Nations, an intergovernmental international organization composed of sovereign States. We understand the thoughts and feelings of Taiwan compatriots on participating in international activities, and on the basis of adhering to the one-China principle, we have made and will be able to make proper arrangements in the past. It is absolutely impossible for the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces to seek "independence" by "participating in international activities."

We urge the governments of relevant countries and the relevant media to clearly understand the nature of the DPP authorities' pursuit of "independence," abide by the one-China principle, refrain from sending any wrong signal to the "Taiwan independence" forces, and refrain from providing any platform for "Taiwan independence" remarks, so as not to cause further damage to peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
