The results of The Cross-Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition were announced

Changshu, October 31 (Chen Guohua) The award ceremony of the 4th Huang Gongwang Cross-Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition of "Ingenious Interpretation and Creative Oriental" was recently held in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, and millions of netizens watched the live broadcast of the event online. After three rounds of selection, the selection committee composed of professionals finally selected 1 gold award, 2 silver awards and 3 bronze awards from 136 shortlisted works, and 54 creative works won the popularity award, group award, and selection award.

Hu Yan from the School of Industrial Design of Nanjing University of the Arts won the gold medal for his work "Seat Between Mountains and Waters". Wang Shuyun of the School of Arts of Southeast University won the Silver Medal for "The Hidden Mountain of the Mountains" and Huang Kaizheng of the University of South China in Taiwan for "Ming ForgetfulNess". The bronze award was won by Zhang Meng and Wang Dakai of Suzhou Arts and Crafts Vocational and Technical College's "New Chinese Furniture of "Miao Craftsman Art Elephant", "10° Chair" by Cai Jiayi and Yan Shaoshi of Macau University of Science and Technology, and "Dexin Bushu" by Fang Tian, Wu Tong and Zhao Dan of the School of Arts of Southeast University.

Yao Xiangdong, director of the Oriental Redwood Furniture Art Museum, one of the organizers, said that the scale of the Huang Gongwang Cross-Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition has increased year by year, creating a new height. Cultural and creative design should be integrated across borders, so that tradition and fashion can blend, precipitate and collide.

Since its inception, the competition has attracted the active participation of teachers and students from colleges and universities on both sides of the strait, Hong Kong and Macao. After more than half a year of solicitation, a total of 429 works from 66 universities, including Southeast University, Soochow University, Macau University of Science and Technology, and Tsinghua University in Taiwan, were received. A series of activities such as the University Industry-University-Research-Innovation Exchange Meeting, Su Zuoyun's online live broadcast, and the second Huang Gongwang Theme Cross-Strait University Cultural and Creative Forum of "Yunqi Oriental Creative Art Without Boundaries" were also held during this period.

Huang Gongwang, who ranked among the "four great masters of the Yuan Dynasty", was a native of Changshu, Jiangsu. He is known for his proficiency in painting landscapes, and his paintings are simple and profound, and his surviving works include "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map", "Jiufeng Xueji Map", "Danya Yushu Map", "Tianchi Stone Wall Map" and so on.
