On November 3, according to the Financial Associated Press, Apple has added suppliers to its clean energy commitments, including more chip companies.

The number of suppliers in this round is up from the 70 suppliers and nearly 8 billion watts of electricity the company reported last year as part of the company's efforts to make its vast global supply chain carbon neutral by 2030. The companies must commit to working for Apple using energy sources such as solar or wind as part of Apple's efforts last year to announce that its products have "net zero" climate impacts. Suppliers are currently involved in the project in 24 countries, including India, Japan and South Korea.
