In addition, under the overall planning of the Water Township Management Committee, Hongmei Town took the lead in launching a pilot project for the construction of contiguous rice fields. At present, about 400 mu of rice field improvement and upgrading of the first phase of the test field located in Hongwu Vortex Village and about 240 mu of giant rice planting test field in Honshu have been completed, which provides important experience for the high-quality implementation of contiguous cultivated land construction in the functional area of Xiashui Township.

At this point, the prelude to the construction of contiguous farmland in the water town functional area has begun.
