Recently, the results of the 2021 Berliner Wein Trophy selection were officially announced, and Yantai Zhangyu Castor Winery won the gold medal in the 2017 snake dragon ball dry red, which is another gold medal won by this wine in an international authoritative competition after winning the gold medal of the Brussels International Wine Competition in 2020.

The Berlin Wine Competition is an event jointly supervised by the International Grape and Wine Organization (OIV), the International Winemakers Union (UIOE), and the International Federation of Wine Competitions (VINOFED), with more than 6,000 wines from around the world participating in the competition, judged by 168 wine professionals, including master wine masters (MW), master sommeliers (MS), winemakers and winemakers, from October 7 to 17.

Zhangyu Castor Winery was built in 2002 and is the first professional winery in China to implement "cultivation in the winery, brewing in the winery, and storage in the winery". According to reports, Zhangyu Castor Winery took the lead in implementing the "water and fertilizer integration" management as early as 2018, and introduced the internationally leading NETAFIM "water and fertilizer integration" drip irrigation equipment, which can accurately and quantitatively meet the water and nutrient needs of grapes at different growth stages. In the brewing process, Zhangyu Castor Winery adopts the "double barrel aging process", when the wine ends the 12 to 18 months of regular oak barrel aging period, but also into a large oak barrel with a capacity of 5 tons or 10 tons for a period of 6 months of fusion and cultivation, after bottling and storage for 6 months before it can be listed. In order to maintain the best color, aroma, taste and stability of the wine, Zhangyu Castor Winery also adopts the "light treatment and aroma preservation process", and the wines that have been aged and blended are only "cross-flow filtered" once.
