Recently, in the construction of roads in Puyang County and the construction of the restoration project of the northern moat of the ancient city, a Ming Dynasty stone arch bridge was excavated, the bridge was built of stone masonry, the shape was beautiful, the material was exquisite, the three holes were continuous, the bite was tight, the bridge deck was about 12 meters long, about 6 meters wide, and about 3 meters high, when it was found, the bridge hole was covered with silt, the bridge deck was flat with the ground, and the bridge was identified by experts as the "North Stone Bridge" on the north moat outside the north gate of the Kaizhou City Arch of the Ming Dynasty, which belonged to the Puyang Ancient City Wall (municipal cultural relics protection unit) Affiliated cultural relics. Echoing the existing "South Brick Bridge" on the south moat outside the Chaoyang Gate in the same period, it accurately frames the north-south span of Kaizhou City in the Ming Dynasty, which has a history of at least 500 years.
