In fact, the Puyang Xishuipo site was discovered very early, but due to archaeological technology and other issues have been protected, until 1987 began to be officially excavated, and that excavation is really vigorous, who can think of the discovery of "China's first dragon" in Xishuipo No. 45 tomb, its present life makes our Chinese descendants more proud.
In fact, the dragon is the totem of our Chinese nation, for thousands of years the dragon is the god in the minds of our Chinese people, of course, there are quite a lot of controversies about the dragon, for example, whether there is a dragon in the ancient period, this dragon is not made up by our people, in fact, this problem has always affected our scholars and experts, but there has been no relevant evidence.
Until the discovery of the "First Dragon of China", we were completely shocked, because after carbon-14 identification, experts found that this "First Dragon of China" is at least 6600 years old, which is definitely the source of our Chinese dragon culture, and its existence is even more than the value of academic research itself.
At that time, the archaeological team found an unexpected harvest when cleaning up tomb No. 45 in Xishuipo, first found a corpse bone, which was lying on its back in the tomb, with a height of 1.79 meters, and there were three bones lying around, which looked likely to be martyrdom, which also represented that the identity of the 1.79-meter male corpse was not simple.
But what surprised the archaeology team the most was that a very strange and mysterious pattern was found on both sides of this male corpse, and it was all posed with mussel shells, which looked very much like a dragon and also like a tiger, of which the length of the dragon was 1.78 meters, and the length of the tiger was 1.39 meters, such a mussel shell shape was indeed never seen in ancient times, and it can also be concluded that this is definitely an early relic of the Yang Yun culture.
This matter even attracted the attention of experts from the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences at that time, in order to study this group of mussel shell specimens, it was the most advanced carbon fourteen measurement, and the results were extremely shocking, dating back at least 6600 years, after this age was determined, the name of "China's first dragon" was derived.
Then the "First Dragon of China" naturally caused a sensation not only at home, but even abroad, but even so, our scholars and experts continued to study and explore whether the dragon really existed.
