The research team listened to the report of the Xingyang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau on the implementation of the "Iron Fist" action in the field of people's livelihood in 2021, listened to the feelings, opinions and suggestions of the grass-roots market supervision departments since the work was carried out, and consulted the relevant materials such as the establishment of the mechanism, the implementation of responsibilities, and the investigation and handling of the case.

Since the launch of the "Iron Fist" campaign, the Xingyang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau has, in accordance with the requirements of the national, provincial, and municipal market supervision bureaus, combined with the study and education of party history, focused on the prominent problems that the masses have strongly complained about and that public opinion is concerned about, actively practiced the "I do practical things for the masses" practical activities, concentrated superior forces, accurately and heavily attacked, and investigated and dealt with cases in key areas of the "Iron Fist" operation according to law, and achieved initial results. Up to now, the Xingyang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau has dispatched a total of 6,300 law enforcement personnel, inspected 12,000 market entities, accepted more than 2,740 complaints and reports, investigated and handled 249 related illegal cases, and transferred two suspected criminal cases to the judicial organs for handling according to law.

The research group fully affirmed the work of the "Iron Fist" action in Xingyang City, especially the investigation and handling of some typical cases, and hoped that in the next step, it would continue to accelerate the advancement of the "Iron Fist" action, increase the intensity of case investigation and handling, and form a strong deterrent.
