On November 1, some media reported that in the next five years, Geely Automobile's geometric brands plan to be equipped with Huawei's Hongmeng system, access Huawei's intelligent ecosystem, and help geometrically impact the mid-to-high-end market with a pure electric dual-platform strategy.
At least two people related to Huawei's car business told the surging news reporter that they had not heard of Geely's access to the Hongmeng system.
A few days ago, Geely Automobile released the "Smart Geely 2025" strategy, showing that the geometric brand will launch more than 5 star products newly created by pure electric architecture (including Haohan architecture) from 2022.
Hongmeng operating system is a new generation of operating system for the era of Internet of Everything. On October 22, at the Huawei Developer Conference, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business and CEO of Huawei's intelligent car solution BU, revealed that Hongmeng OS upgraded more than 150 million users, and will reach 200 million users by the end of the year, becoming the fastest growing terminal operating system in history. In terms of vehicles, Huawei plans to release a smart cockpit equipped with Hongmeng OS at the end of this year and early next year.
