89 years ago, the 22-year-old white lilac martyr sacrificed in Nanjing Yuhuatai for the revolutionary cause, in order to commemorate her, the husband Le Yuhong and his later wife Zhong Man named their first daughter Le Lilac. In 1992, Le Yuhong died, and his ashes were scattered under the lilac trees of the Yuhuatai Martyrs' Cemetery. On the eve of the Qingming Dynasty, the reporter went to Shenyang, 1500 kilometers away, to interview Zhong Man and Le Dingxiang, recording the legend of love and faith that spanned more than half a century.
Lilac Martyr died at the age of 22 at Yuhuatai
In the Yuhuatai Martyrs' Memorial Hall, there are 179 martyrs who exhibited chen's deeds on the upper board, of which 16 are female martyrs, and Lilac is one of them.
Born in 1910, Ding Xiang joined the Communist Party of China while attending Soochow University in Suzhou and became acquainted with progressive youth. In 1932, Ding Xiang and Le Yuhong married in Shanghai. Five months after her marriage, she was sent by the party organization to Beiping (now Beijing) for a secret conference, by which time she was pregnant. Betrayed by traitors, Lilac was unfortunately arrested. In December of that year, Lilac died at Yuhuatai at the age of 22, with a child less than 3 months old in her womb. In 1992, Le Yuhong died, and his ashes were scattered under the lilac trees of the Yuhuatai Martyrs' Cemetery.
Today, in the Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery, there is a "Lilac Garden" dedicated to commemorating the Lilac Martyrs.
The diary records the thoughts of the cloves
After Lilac's sacrifice, she was happy to be in pain and wrote many poems for her lover. In his diary, he recorded his unforgettable thoughts about lilacs. He made a vow to "bow down to the best of his ability and fulfill his last wishes" and embarked on the unfinished revolutionary road of Lilac.
In 1950, Le Yuhong met a young woman, Zhong Man, on her way with the army, when she was engaged in communications reporting. When Leyuhong and Zhong Man first met, they asked her curiously, "How to send you here?" ”
Clockman said: "Corey's other comrades have gone to the front line to interview, and I am now the only big intellectual!" Happy Yuhong listened stunned: "Great intellectual? how big? ”
"I'm a high school student!" ClockMan replied.
"High school students, big intellectuals. So good! Happy Tohong said with a smile.
In this way, Zhong Man and Le Yuhong met. Soon, the two fell in love and married.
She gave birth to a daughter named Le Lilac
After marriage, Le Yuhong discussed with Zhong Man that if she was born as a daughter, could she be named "Le Lilac"? Zhong Man understood his feelings for Lilac and readily agreed.
"My mother said it was so bad, why did she call it that?" ClockMan told reporters, "But in the end it didn't bother me." I know that Ah Le gave the child this name in order to remember his relationship with Lilac, which was the feeling they had made during the hard years! ”
Le Lilac told reporters: "When I was a child, I was vague and proud anyway. Although the martyr did not know what specific concept it was to me, the name Lilac was interesting. My name is the name of the martyr, and I am particularly proud. ”
The reporter noticed that on the bookshelf in the old man's home of Zhong Man, there was a plate of rain flower stones with clear water. "Every year during the Qingming Festival, when the lilacs bloom, I will add water to the rain flower stones to remember the martyrs of Ah Le and Lilac." Clock Man told reporters.
