In the Lilac Yingchun Residential Area of Kangjian Street, Xuhui District, there are many residents who are willing to participate in community construction, and they have rich interests and hobbies and high enthusiasm for learning. Based on the actual situation of the residential area and taking the needs of residents as the starting point, Kangjian Street carried out the "Five-petal Lilac" community small classroom autonomy project in the Lilac Yingchun residential area according to local conditions, taking the meaning of "my companion", and by actively tapping community experts and surrounding social resources, it opened a number of public welfare courses including art, sports, handicrafts, etc., to attract community residents to participate, learn together, interact and communicate, improve cultural literacy, create a good-neighborly community atmosphere, and explore the construction of a learning community.
Gather strength to expand the team, and the community can share it
Through daily visits, communication, and organization of community activities, the staff of the Lilac Yingchun Neighborhood Committee have found some community talents with specialties and enthusiasm for public welfare.
Wu Lao, a resident who is good at calligraphy, uses his free time to set up a small calligraphy class in the activity room of the neighborhood committee, so that children can understand traditional culture and feel the charm of calligraphy in the process of practicing calligraphy; The newly established "Bailing Choir" takes the sound of "Bailing", which means that residents of different ages participate together, and Mr. Zhang, a resident of the community, patiently and meticulously explained music knowledge and singing skills to the members, and the choir members learned professional vocal skills, improved their singing level, and became more and more enthusiastic about participating.
Link resources into the community, co-governance and sharing, and promote learning
In order to better stimulate residents' enthusiasm for participation, Kangjian Street took the lead in linking surrounding social resources and introducing diversified learning content. Residential areas have carried out drone classes for teenagers, so that children can learn drone flight safety knowledge, experience drone control methods, and cultivate interest in science and technology in the learning experience. The "Roots and Shoots" student club of Shiwai Middle School carried out a series of activities with the theme of environmental protection and plant science popularization in residential areas, helping young people and the elderly in the community to understand the plants around them, understand the growth rules of plants in the process of planting by themselves, and advocate community residents to develop a sense of loving and protecting greenery and caring for their common home.
The "Five-petal Lilac" community small classroom project in Lilac Yingchun Residential Area brings together community talents and surrounding social resources, and builds a growth platform for residents to exchange and learn together with interest, and the sense of participation and cohesion of community residents is gradually improved. After that, the residential area will continue to tap the resources of the community and the surrounding society, enrich the content of the community classroom curriculum, and build a beautiful community of mutual learning, mutual assistance and love.
