The drama is based on the novel "Chivalrous Journey" written by the late famous martial arts novel master Jin Yong. Zhang Jizhong is the chief producer. But this novel is actually very good, it adheres to the consistent purpose of Jin Yong's martial arts novels: evil does not suppress righteousness, and good and evil are free in people's hearts.
