Top 5 for Miss Universe Nepal 2021
On October 30, the 2021 Miss Universe Nepal pageant was held at the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu. Sujita Basnet, who won the championship by beating 17 other contestants, will represent Nepal in the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel in December.
Miss Universe Nepal 2021 Sugita Basnet
Sugitta Basnett, 28, was born in Maryland, but her parents are Nepalese. Her dream has always been to become the winner of Miss Universe. After 10 years of participating in the beauty pageant in 2011, I have never given up, and now my dream has finally come true.
From 2011 to 2015, she attended George Washington University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biomedicine/medical engineering.
In 2011, she won the miss Nepal pageant. This is a beauty pageant for Nepalese in the United States, and the participants must be Nepalese.
In 2016, she was awarded Miss World maryland. On July 8, 2016, she represented Maryland at Miss World 2016 and competed with 27 other candidates at the Maryland National Port. She ended up in the top 12.
In 2019, she was runners-up to Miss World maryland. On November 11, 2019, she participated in the Miss Maryland 2020 contest. She won the Public Choice Award and won third place.
On December 30, 2020, she competed with 23 other finalists in the Miss Universe Nepal contest held at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal. She finished runner-up.
On October 30, 2021, she competed with the other 17 finalists in the 2021 Miss Universe Nepal final at the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu. She won the championship.
