Speaking of the woman Lin Biao hated the most in his life, it was None other than Yan Weibing.
Who is Yan Weibing?
Yan Weibing was a talented woman from Jiangnan, and her father was the famous revolutionary Yan Pu. Yan Pu's family was a well-known rich man in Wuxi, but as early as 1926, Yan Pu gave his land to the peasants, and then sold his family property, threw himself into the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base Area, and served as the deputy minister of finance in the Ruijin Soviet Government, and then participated in the Long March with illness.

In 1938, Yan Pu successively served as the chief of the second section of the Central Organization Department and the secretary general of the Eighth Route Army Office in Xi'an and Chongqing. He died in Beijing on June 5, 1949, at the age of 52 due to overwork. In 1957, Chairman Mao personally issued a martyr's certificate to Yan Pu.
Yan Pu's beloved daughter Yan Weibing also abandoned the identity of a rich family and joined the revolution.
This article takes place in the 1960s, when Yan Weibing's husband, Lu Dingyi, was serving as vice premier and minister of culture.
As early as the Yan'an period, Yan Weibing knew something about Lin Biao's wife Ye Qun and was very disgusted with some of her noble ladies. In early 1960, Yan Weibing went to the Harbin Military Engineering College to visit his son, and when he saw that Lin Xiaolin, the daughter of Lin Biao's ex-wife, had been abused by Ye Qun, he was very angry, so he used an inappropriate way of writing anonymous letters to insult Lin Biao and Ye Qun.
From March 1960 to January 1966, Yan Weibing landed on his back and used pseudonyms such as "Monte Cristo" to write anonymous letters saying that Ye Qun's life style was chaotic when he was young, saying that Lin Liheng (also known as Lin Doudou) was not Lin Biao's biological daughter, which disturbed Lin Biao's family.
Lu Dingyi comforted the Bing couple
The Lin Biao couple were annoyed by the anonymous letter and secretly investigated the letter writer. The Ministry of Public Security listed the case as a major case, and in the spring of 1966 it was found that the anonymous letter was originally the work of Yan Weibing, the wife of Vice Premier Lu Dingyi.
The process of solving the case is a coincidence. One afternoon in the spring of 1966, Yan Weibing and Ye Qun were shopping at the Overseas Personnel Service Department of the Wangfujing Department Store. Yan Weibing's eyes were short-sighted, and he accidentally stepped on a person's foot. The man lost his temper and kept swearing and grinning. The two quarreled. Yan Weibing took a look, and it turned out that the person was Ye Qun.
In a fit of rage, Yan Weibing went straight to the General Political Department of the Central Military Commission to reflect Ye Qun's arrogant and unreasonable attitude to the responsible comrades of the General Political Department. Yan Weibing was a Shanghainese, spoke with an accent, spoke quickly on his head, and the comrade in charge really couldn't understand her words, so he asked her to write about the incident. Yan Weibing wrote it.
Afterwards, the responsible comrade really took what Yan Weibing had written to reflect to Lin Biao. Lin Biao and Ye Qun looked at it and felt that this was literally familiar, so they handed it over to the Ministry of Public Security. After handwriting identification, the Ministry of Public Security determined that Yan Weibing was the author of the anonymous letter.
On April 28, 1966, Yan Weibing was arrested. After investigation, the central authorities believed that Lu Dingyi was not aware of this matter, and Yan Weibing was medically examined as a psychopath.
Lin Biao was naturally greatly dissatisfied with such a finding.
On May 14, Lin Biao wrote a strange "certificate" to the central government, asking it to be uploaded at the meeting. At this day's meeting, a photocopy of Lin Biao's own handwriting was placed on each seat:
I attest to:
(1) Ye Qun was a pure virgin when he married me, and he was always upright after marriage.
(2) Ye Qun and Wang Shiwei and others had never been in love at all.
(3) Tiger and Bean bean are the biological children of Ye Qun and me.
(4) Everything yan Weibing's counter-revolutionary letter talks about is all rumor-mongering.

At the enlarged politburo meeting in May 1966, Lin Biao loudly questioned Lu Dingyi: "Why did you harm me?" I have always liked a little intellectual, and I still like you Lu Dingyi, why do you do such a bad thing, what is your intention? All the senior cadres attending the meeting expressed strong indignation at Yan Weibing's behavior, especially military cadres, Ye Jianying, Yang Chengwu, Xiao Hua and others all spoke at the meeting.
Premier Zhou Enlai severely reprimanded Lu Dingyi at the meeting, and was so excited that he smashed the drinking vat on the side where Lu Dingyi was sitting. It is very rare for the prime minister to be angry in this way, which shows the seriousness of the situation.
Regarding the vendetta between Lin Biao and Yan Weibing, Liu Shaoqi's wife Wang Guangmei once made this evaluation: "I didn't know anything about Comrade Yan Weibing's anonymous letter. Although Ye Qun is very bad, I think it is really bad for Comrade Yan Weibing to take this approach, and there are problems that can be reflected to the organization! Moreover, she was against Ye Qun, but she wanted to plant this matter on someone else's head, wasn't this a provocation? She signed "Wang Guang" in some anonymous letters, saying that 'we are classmates, and who knows whom', and deliberately wrote the address of the letter 'according to the courtyard alley'. According to the address of the courtyard alley, my mother's clean nursery. Isn't this an attempt to make people think that the letter writer is Wang Guangmei? I was completely in the dark, didn't know it for years, and was surprised until the case was solved. ”
After yan weibing was arrested, he was sent to Qincheng Prison in February 1967, and after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Yan Weibing was rehabilitated. (Liu Jixing)
