Recently, the residents of Yulu Community in Longta Street were very happy. The wasteland under the bridge in the thirteenth block section of Luneng Star City on Yulu Avenue has been transformed into a community park with green windows - Yulu Garden. The Yubei District Urban Management Bureau rationally uses the "Phnom Penh Silver Horn" of urban construction to add a new place for residents to integrate ecology, leisure and entertainment.
"After the greenery is built, the environment is beautiful, and adults and children love to come here, which brings a lot of convenience to nearby residents." Residents of Yulu Community in Longta Street, Yubei District, said.
Yulu Garden covers an area of about 18,000 square meters, of which 6,000 square meters of space under the bridge and about 12,000 square meters of surrounding protective green space. Before the construction, it was a gray space and idle wasteland under the bridge, where the surrounding residents used to grow vegetables and pile up debris, and the urban pipeline facilities such as drainage, gas, and electricity were intricate and exposed to the ground, affecting the image of the urban landscape.
At the beginning of this year, Yubei District launched the Yulu Garden Landscape Engineering Construction Project to effectively use idle plots and better provide leisure and fitness places for surrounding residents.

"Our district makes full use of the advantages of shading and rain sheltering in the space under the bridge, and through the design of the ground pavement and the collocation of plant varieties, cleverly builds an urban gray space into a community park, forming an urban garden activity space that integrates children's play, neighborhood exchanges, health and fitness, strolling and resting, isolation and protection, which greatly improves the quality of the regional image." The relevant person in charge of the Landscaping Department of the Yubei District Urban Management Bureau was introduced.
In addition to Yulu Garden, this year, Yubei District has invested about 130 million yuan, greening and beautifying pokan cliffs totaling 130,000 square meters, and 120,000 square meters have been completed. At present, the three major slopes of Yuhang Avenue, the Yaju Park around the lake and the three-dimensional greening project of the Shuangfeng Bridge overpass are being promoted in an orderly manner, and will fully complete the task at the end of this year.
