Let the staff and workers express their love for the party and the country -- the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions innovates the form of party history study and education

A bouquet of flowers, a souvenir, a heart-to-heart farewell party... Recently, the trade union of China Railway Baoqiao Group Corporation held a symposium for retired employees, inviting retired employees to teach young employees the history of the enterprise, personal struggle, work skills and experience, and passing on the excellent style and enterprise spirit from generation to generation in the form of word of mouth.

Since the launch of the party history study and education, like the China Railway Baoqiao Group Company, under the initiative of the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, many enterprises and institutions in our province have regarded the farewell ceremony of retired workers as a vivid classroom for the educational activities of "learning party history, speaking of three memories, feeling the gratitude of the party, and strengthening the 'four self-confidences'" (hereinafter referred to as the "three memories" education activities), allowing the employees to tell the story of "under the party's care and education, I grew up with the enterprise and the motherland".

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Carrying out the "three memories" education activities among the staff and workers of the province is a continuation of the provincial federation of trade unions' theme education activities of "three memories of reform and development history do not forget the original heart and feel the gratitude of the party" in recent years, and is also an innovative practice of party history study and education. Trade unions at all levels have extensively organized and guided staff and workers to tell the story of the "three memories" in the form of telling the story of "me," in connection with the major social changes in the centenary since the founding of the party and the great historical achievements made by the country, from their own personal experiences, food, clothing, shelter, and transportation, what they have seen, heard, and felt and thought, to profoundly understand the hardships of our party's struggle, the greatness of their contributions, and the remarkable achievements of our party over the past hundred years, and to guide the broad masses of staff and workers to feel the gratitude of the party, listen to the party' words, follow the party, and make contributions to the new era.

On the eve of the National Day, in the "Three Remembrances" education activity held by the Xi'an Federation of Trade Unions, more than 20 workers who participated in the construction of the key venues of the 14th Games used simple language to tell the changes in their lives and feel the gratitude of the party.

Cui Qi, a worker from the Qinba Mountains, said excitedly: "My family is in the mountainous area of southern Shaanxi, especially far from the county seat, and the children must first take a bus to the town to go to school, and then take a bus down the mountain." This is a microcosm of the "three memories" education activities carried out by the trade unions in the province. How to make the study and education of party history deeply rooted in the hearts of the people? The "Activity Plan" issued by the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions divides the educational activities into three periods, namely from the beginning of reform and opening up in 1978 to the Deng Xiaoping Southern Speech in 1992, from the Deng Xiaoping Southern Speech in 1992 to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012, from the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party in 2012 to the present. Let the employees tell the story of struggle through the changes in their personal work life and family, and highlight the historic achievements made by the COMMUNIST Party of China in leading the people of the whole country to unite and struggle in the past 100 years.

Since the launch of the activities, trade unions at all levels have given full play to the advantages of extensive ties with the masses of workers and staff members, guided the broad masses of staff and workers to persist in linking the study of party history with the study of the history of new China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of socialist development, combined with the study and review of the history of the workers' movement, changed "indoctrination" education into "heuristic" guidance, innovated means and methods, and made full use of various forms such as class group meetings, reading sharing meetings, emeritus forums, study exchange meetings, and propaganda meetings to carry out the "three memories" education activities. According to statistics, the "Revisiting the Application for Joining the Party and Saying a Heartfelt Word to the Party" essay collection activity organized by the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions received more than 4,000 articles and videos in just two months.

In 7 days, 10 outstanding teachers preached, 4,000 teachers listened on the spot, more than 300,000 teachers watched online, the journey was 3,500 kilometers, and the footprints covered 11 urban areas in the province...
